Mako, Bolin and Korra escape and find themselves in chaos. Mako, Korra and Bolin try to steal with a airship and with some effort they succeed. Mako and Bolin decide to save their family and Bolin helps them. Korra helps the family. Jing the grandmother did not want to leave but refused to go. Grandma was forced to come along and soon the family climbed up after Bolin lifted his om, the family was safe in the zappelin and on their way. The family sleeps and looks out at a wreckage, eventually following the trail. Bolin sees Pabu and hugs him. "Hey watch out for a huge dog beast thingy," Mako's cousin yells as Nagga runs towards Korra. "Asami, Kira" Bolin yells when he sees me and Asami. I run up to Mako and he grabs me and hugs me. "It's good to see you again and luckily also very skinned," says Mako. We kiss and hold hands as Lord Zuko, my dad and Lin walk out of the bar. "Dad," Korra says and runs towards our father. "Great, so you're not dead," Lin says. "Don't start acting soggy right away, chief," says Mako. "Tonraq, sir," Mako says gently. "I'm sorry, this is Lord Zuko, unbelievable," says Bolin. "Don't blame him. It is a great honor to meet you," said Mako, who bows to Lord Zuko with Bolin. "The pleasure is all mine," says Zuko. Yin walks over to me and I hug her. "It's nice to see you again Yin," I say. "You can call me Grandma," she says. "Is everything okay, what happened to you?" I ask as Mako comes standing next to me. "Zaheer captured us and took us to Ba Sing Se. We were there when the Earth Queen was deposed," Mako says. ''what! How did you escape?" I ask as I check Mako and Bolin for wounds. "Zaheer let us go," Mako says. "Why did he do that?" I ask as I look at him. "Because he gave us a message for you," Bolin says. "Zaheer is currently on his way to the Northern Air Temple. He plans to destroy everyone belonging to the new air nation. Unless you, Kira, surrender to him," Mako says and I look at him in shock.
"Zaheer threatens innocent people to get me," I say angrily. "Maybe he's bluffing," Tonraq says my father. "He has already dethroned the Earth Queen. I don't think he's bluffing Dad," Korra says. "We have to warn Tenzin by radio that the red lotus is coming," I say. "I think so too, unfortunately we don't have a radio on board the airship," says Mako, who is still holding my hand and my father looks at us with questioning eyes. "There is a portable radio in the jeep. But the signal is too weak to reach the temple," says our Dad. "We need to go somewhere where they have a stronger radio station," Lin says. ''for example at the metal clan''. "Come on, we'll report to Su on the way," Korra says. "Hopefully she can reach Tenzin in time before it's too late," I say. We arrive at Zaofu much later and are welcomed by Su. "Have you been able to reach Tenzin yet?" I ask concerned. "Nobody answers. What if Zaheer has already arrived. I should never have let Opal go," says Su. "It's going to be all right Su," Lin says, comforting her sister. "I hope so," says Su.
"The signal is strong enough, but there is no answer," says the person from the radio. "I can't wait here while a maniac is on his way to the temple. We have to do something about this," I say. My airship is ready. With all the forces the metal clan has, we can take them," Su says. "We'll never get there until Zaheer gets there," Mako says. "Maybe I can stop him. I don't know if it works but Zaheer often meditates in the spirit world and I know exactly where to find him. In Xia Bai's grove. If I meet him there, I can trap him," I say. "We can't protect you there," Lin and Mako say simultaneously. "I have to disapprove of that," Lin says. "I have to try it," I say. "I'll keep watch when she starts meditating," Mako says. I love you", I nod and then say "I love you too" and I sit in the lotus position to meditate. But before I go into the spirit world I kiss Mako unexpectedly and quickly on his lips. When I get into the spirit world I look for Zaheer and call him too. I then see someone emerge and recognize him as Iroh. "Please don't hurt me Kira. I'm just an old man," Iroh says. "Iroh, but what are you doing here?" I ask him. ''I've been looking for a new teapot to add to my collection for a while, but I find you instead. In the spirit world you will always find an Irishman or someone you didn't know you were looking for," Iroh says with a laugh. Then he sees my expression on my face. "You look worried," he says. "So am I," I say. ''sit down. What's going on?" Iroh asks. There is a maniac threatening to destroy the new air nation. I don't know what to do," I say. ''Just because you happen to be the avatar with your sister doesn't mean you have an answer for everything'', ''I know a lot of avatars asked for advice but the previous avatars never helped me and Korra is the band broken and money for her as Wan. I'd like to talk to avatar Aang," I say. "You know Zuko and Aang were really good friends," Iroh says. "Lord Zuko, of course," I say. "Yes, you know my nephew. Their mental attitude started out a bit erm unbalanced. But in the end they became friends for life. Best friends''. ''thank you. Thank you very much. And you are indeed right. I actually came for someone else but I'm glad I found you'' I say and come back into the physical world. Mako sits next to me and looks at me. "Did you find Zaheer?" he asks. "No, he wasn't there," I say. "But I have to go talk to someone," I say and kiss Mako as we get up together.
I walk over to Lord Zuko and his dragon and see Lord Zuko saddle up his dragon. "Are you leaving?" I ask. "Won't you come after the air temple?" "I'm sorry, but no. I have to get back to the fire nation. If it is true that the red lotus is after the world leaders, then I must protect my daughter," Zuko says. ''I understand that. you must secure the fire nation. But before you go, would you mind helping me with something?" I ask. "I've been Aang's counselor and I'd love to be yours," Zuko says. "that's exactly it. You knew Aang better than anyone. Do you know what he would do if he were in my shoes?" I ask. "Hmm, rebuilding the air nation was his biggest dream. He would be over the moon with what you and your sister have accomplished. And if he achieved that goal, he would probably have sacrificed everything to protect it," says Zuko. "So he surrendered to the Air Nation," I say. ''I am not sure about that. The airbenders may have been the most important to him, but as the avatar he cared about the people of all nations. Aang knew very well that in times of need the world desperately needs his avatars," Zuko says, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Thank you, your uncle was right. Talking to you helped," I say. "What, did you talk to my uncle?" Zuko asks. "Yes, in the spirit world. I came across him by chance," I say to Zuko. "Hey, we have contact with the temple," Asami says. Together we all run to the radio room. "Who is this?" I hear Meelo ask a frustrated Bolin. ''That she is- I- this is Bolin'' says Bolin. ''Bolin is not here for a while can I pass on something?'', ''No, I'm not asking for Bolin I'm Bolin. Listen, you have to go get your father," says Bolin. "He's outside with the bison, you know they found a whole herd of baby bison," Meelo says. "No, a whole herd. Really?" asks Bolin. I tap Bolin and motion for him to leave and he listens smartly enough. "Meelo, this is your highest commander speaking, go get your father, now," I say. "Yes ma'am," says Meelo. I wait and mumble to myself that he has to hurry. "Tenzin here" I hear. "Tenzin listens to me very carefully. Zaheer is on his way to the temple. He's coming before the airbenders so you need to evacuate everyone immediately. You have to hurry, go now," I say. "Oh no," Tenzin says. "what, what is it? Tenzin, Tenzin what is it?" I ask. Mako put his arms around my neck when I have tears in my eyes.
