Summary: Third plans to avoid Khai.
  "Stop staring at him. Didn't you say you were going to keep away from him?" Two said kicking Third's foot under the table.
  "I could feel him looking at me." Third said looking away from Khai's piercing eyes and back at Two and Un.
  "Everyone is looking at you." Un noted.
  Third kicked him.
  "Are you sure you can avoid Khai?" Two asked worriedly. "Maybe you should talk to him."
  "No, I can't talk to him." Third said and resumed eating his lunch.
  "He's your best friend." Two said.
  "Was." Third said. "He was my best friend. We haven't spoken in years."
  "Because you decided to push him away." Un said, earning himself another kick.
  "I decided to keep him safe." Third corrected glaring at Un.
  Un just rolled his eyes.
  "He asked about you every day after you stopped going to school." Two said. "For over a year he asked Un and I if we knew anything about where you were."
  "And we lied to him because you made us promise not to tell anyone, especially not Khai." Un said.
  Third kicked the phoenix for the third time.
  "What did I say?" Un protested.
  "I just wanted to kick you." Third said, giving him a sweet smile.
  "Brat." Un said.
  Two rolled his eyes.
  "He might try to talk to you." Two said. "Do you really have the strength to push him away like you did over five years ago?"
  "I can avoid him. I'm a fairy. Fairies are good at being sneaky." Third said but couldn't help but feel nervous about the fact he could bump into Khai anywhere and anytime now that they went to the same university.
  "You don't have much time left Third." Two said, souring the mood. "If, and I do mean if because we still have given up, we don't find a way to break your curse don't you want to make sure you don't have any regrets?"
  "I'll find a way to break the curse." Third said. "And then afterwards I'll talk to Khai."
  Two sighed.
  "Fine." Two said. "But I have a feeling Khai isn't going to just pretend he doesn't know you."
