It's 6:00 am and Leni has just entered the Economics Faculty room to arrange her papers for today and lesson plans. As soon as she sat on her own chair, Kiko stood up in front of her table.
"Leni, may bago tayong professor transferee later. Prof. Zuluaga ang name, from UP Los Baños. I-welcome natin ah?"
Wow, UP Los Baños pa nga. "Oh sige, Kiko. Lalaki ba or babae?" Leni asks before Kiko returns to his seat. "Lalaki. Basta pagkapasok, let's greet him."
"Wait, kelan niyo pinagusapan yang about sa bagong magttransfer?" Leni wondered, because she hasn't had any clue about a new professor transferring. "Nung isang araw lang, aalis na kasi si Prof. Sarmiento kaya papalit yun ngayon si Prof. Zuluaga."
Leni nods as Kiko returns to his table to read his own papers. Leni on the other hand, pulls her phone out of her pocket just to text Risa- even though they were just together a few minutes ago.

May new transferee raw ng Economics. We're just waiting for him to enter nalang. Ngayon daw papasok eh.
Risa sungit 
Really?? Ano name?

Prof. Zuluaga raw from UP Los Baños. Aalis na kasi isa naming Prof. dito. Kaya ayun papalit.

Ohh ganun ba.. sige sige. Would like to meet the new prof. :D

Haha punta ka nalang here if you have free time. Lunch break? Para makilala mo if you want.

Oh sure! No worries! Bye na, my Prof! Start na ng class ko for this time! 💜

As soon as Leni turns her phone off and placing it down above the table, the new professor finally arrived.
"Good morning, Prof. Miguel Zuluaga! Welcome to Ateneo!" Kiko greets the transferee as Leni claps along with the other professors in sight. "Yes hello good morning to all! Thank you for the welcomes!" 
Hm. Miguel Zuluaga huh. "Katabi mo si Prof. Robredo, dun table mo." Kiko points at an empty table besides Leni, Miguel walked towards that table that is beside Leni- placing his bag under the table and sitting on the chair. Kiko also gave him his paper of schedules. 
Leni was just looking at him as she scroll through the paper, until Miguel notices her. "Oh, hi! Ano name mo, Prof?" Miguel politely asks away, making the staring professor jump a tiny bit.
"Ay sorry. Name's Leonie Robredo. Call me Leni nalang." Leni answered. "Hi Leni! You can call me Migs nalang din also. Nice to meet you!" 
Mabait naman pala 'to. "So taga UP Los Baños ka pala. UP Diliman naman ako, kapwa Isko." Leni mentioned, making the new professor widen his eyes. "Oh! Hello kapwa Isko! Galing! So ilang taon ka na nagtuturo rito sa Ateneo?" Migs questions as Leni crosses her arms together- also resting her back on the swivel chair.
"6 years na. Transferee rin ako rito. Also, someone wants to meet you pala. My friend na History Dean dito sa Ateneo." Damn, why do I have to say 'my friend' everytime. Ayoko.
"Oh really? Sure no problem naman! Would like to meet new profs din naman here also." The new professor beamed. Leni checked at the time, her classes are about to start, so she stood up from her seat to get her things.
"Sa lunch break daw, Prof. Hontiveros would like to meet you." Pero ayus ayusin mo lang.

[Lunch Break]
"Oh! So you're Therisa Hontiveros? Heard about you!" 
Migs exclaims. The three professors are just hanging out inside of the Gonzaga Cafeteria, eating their lunch as they converse and talk with the new Economics professor in Ateneo. 
"Really? Where?" Risa asks while Leni was just eating beside her, carefully listening to their conversation.
"UPLB mismo! Some faculty remembers you dahil you once taught there raw. Kaya ayun. Kaso yun nga, sabi lumipat ka raw dito sa Ateneo." 
Bakit 'di ko alam 'to.. Leni inside of her head. "Oh right, yeah! Buti naaalala pa nila ako. Anyway, sa UPLB ka nagturo or nagtapos?" Risa questions.
"Both actually, dun ako nag aral at nagturo. Pero yun nga, hi Leni! Kumusta?" Migs uttered that made Leni stop eating her lunch to look at the man. "I'm good, thank you. Pinapakinggan ko lang kayo. Usap lang kayo."
On the other hand, Risa was pinching Leni's thigh under the table. And Leni, widens her eyes and looking at the side to where Risa is— not having any idea on why she's doing that. 
"Tahimik mo kasi eh. So you know, I have to ask you lang." Migs beamed at Leni that made her raise one eyebrow up slightly. Makangiti naman 'to.
"Sorry na, nilalasap ko pa yung tapa." That made Migs giggle and nod. "Yeah! Sarap nga ng mga ulam dito! Would like to grab lunch again with you sa mga susunod at pwede rin naman kasama tong si Prof. Risa!"
Leni looked beside to where Risa is, which rewarded her with a poisonous stare. Her hand is still above Leni's thigh, still pinching it. Leni looked at Migs again with a gulp. "Oh sure, basta kung kelan ka free."
Leni cannot reject that offer because, well, Migs is one kind professor after all and it would be bad for her if she doesn't agree on that. 
After a while, the bell of the cafeteria rang, which means Lunch break is over for this day. Risa stood up first, followed by Leni. "Thank you pala sa time, Migs! Una na kami ni Leni muna! Ano oras ba klase mo?"
Ay iniwan? "Later pa naman, sige na thank you also, Prof. Hontiveros! Till next time!" Risa started walking towards the exit of Gonzaga Building, while Leni is trailed behind her.
"Iniwan si Migs?" As Leni catched up with Risa, now walking beside her. Risa turned her head to where Leni is to give her a smile— which looks forced. 
"Mamaya pa naman klase nun, diba? Kaya mauna na tayo." Risa scoffed that made Leni raise her eyebrow in confusion. Nagsusungit na naman 'tong babaeng 'to?

[Extra Scene: History Faculty]
"Hoy, bakit nakakunot na naman noo mo dyan?" Lei was the one that notices Risa's furrowed forehead. Risa kept reading her papers and not even looking at Prof. De Lima.
"Hayaan mo ko. Have to distract myself lang." Risa grumbles as Lei sat in front of her table on a chair. "Hay nako, mars. Sabihin mo na ang today's chika. Anyare? Diba may new professor in town?" 
Risa looked up at Lei, stopping the reading session on her papers. "Wala nga. Kulit. Saka, nakausap ko na yun."
"Eh bakit ka nagsusungit dyan? Dahil kay Leonie? Asus, ayaw pa kasi umamin." 
"Gaga, walang aaminin. Special friend ko lang naman talaga si Leni. At saka, I am very sure that she doesn't even feel something towards me anyway." Risa commented, which made Lei chuff because it's just funny that Risa doesn't notice anything at all.
"Bahala kayo dyan, maghintayan hanggang sa may mahanap na ang isa sa inyo. Hays, mga bading nga naman."
