"Heeseung, be honest with me okay," she took a deep sigh, "How long did you follow me knowing that you know every one of my weaknesses?"
He looked at her softly and veered his vision away from Eun byul's gaze. Heeseung's face flushed red with embarrassment as he took his time to respond.
"I didn't mean to make you think I was stalking you," he exclaimed, looking at her again, "But I'll tell you from the beginning. My story."

A young boy, only 5-years-old, had the ability to recognize any given note he heard. Perfect pitch. Lee Heeseung, a prodigy. The young boy was praised for his unusual skill and his parents chose his final destiny of becoming a musician. Starting off with the cello, Heeseung enjoyed playing music. It wasn't until he went to a stringed instrument recital for young prodigies and felt the presence of the great Cha Eun byul.
"Heeseung, look," his mother whispered, pointing at the young girl on the stage, "It's your cousin, Yeseo."
"Who's she playing with?" the young boy asked with curiosity.
His mother flipped through the pamphlet. "Her name is Cha Eun byul. She's the same age as both you and Yeseo."
"Wow," he gushed in awe, "Eun byul is amazing. I want to play with her too, mom! I want to play the piano now!"
The woman let out a soft laugh, shushing her son's excitement. "Alright, dear, we'll talk at home. Let's just enjoy the recital now, hm?"

The wind brustled past Heeseung and Eun byul as they sat on the bench. Eun byul's eyes were closed and let out a long sigh.
"So, you're trying to tell me that you've been stalking me since I made my debut?" she exhaled.
"No, most of it happened by coincidence. Plus my cousin was an accompanist so I went to see her play," he exclaimed.
"Was it like a silly little crush or something?"
"Along the lines of that. Your playing was absolutely mesmerizing but at the same time, the music you played sounded as if I've been isolated. They were lonely sounds," Heeseung exclaimed, his voice trailing.
Eun byul stayed silent.
"You mentioned your cousin earlier. Who is she? Maybe I know her."
Heeseung paused as he stared deeply into Eun byul's eyes. He suddenly embraced her, catching Eun byul off guard, wrapping his arms tightly around her, his chin resting on her shoulder.
"I'm so sorry," he whispered.
"Heeseung, what are you doing?" she questioned him flustered, pulling away from his embrace.
"My cousin is Yeseo. Kim Yeseo."
"What?" Eun byul's voice trembled and stared at Heeseung like she was a deer facing headlights, "Yeseo's your cousin?"
"I'm sorry," he whispered.
"After all this time, knowing that she was my accompanist... were you not going to tell me?! Heeseung, are you serious?" At this point, Eun byul was in disbelief, and tears of fury formed in her eyes, "How dare you not tell me? Don't you think I had every right to know this information?"
"Eun byul, I'm so sorry. I really am. But you wouldn't have ever played with me if you found out I was related to Yeseo. I'm sorry," he pleaded, grabbing her wrist.
"Leave me alone, please. Everything you ever did was selfish. You never thought of me, but just yourself," she cried, "Now please leave me alone. I need to be alone right now."
Heeseung let Eun byul go as she began to walk away from him and the studio. Her violin case was left on the ground and her music folder on the bench. Heeseung sighed with stress as he sat back down on the bench.
"It wasn't supposed to turn out like this."
