Cinema Club

                                    

                                          
It was another day in school for Dylan and Jill. They got a ride from Kirby and drove to school without any mentions from what happened last night. 
They arrived at school and then going their separate ways. Dylan went to the cinema club room where Charlie told her to meet him there this morning. 
She went inside seeing Charlie at the desk in front of the class with his back facing her. She walked towards him sliding her hands up his chest. 
"Guess who?" She asks. 
"The most hottest final girl I've ever laid eyes on besides Laurie Strode" Charlie responds which made Dylan snorted to as he turns around.
"How's your wound?" Charlie asks. 
"Eh it's ok had worse but I'm alright" Dylan replies and then spoke up again. "So you really convinced The Gale Weathers to invite her and my mom to your cinema club thing?" Dylan says.
"Yeah I mean besides you there she's a pretty big name to come here for us film geeks" Charlie says which Dylan nods to as she wraps her arms around Charlie's neck. She then pulls him in a kiss before he could speak any further. 
Charlie kisses back and places his arms around Dylan having a firm grip on her waist. Dylan pushes her body little closer to Charlie's making him slightly bump into the desk more making him pull away. 
"Uh we should not go any further before someone walks in" Charlie says looking over Dylan's shoulder. Dylan signs. "Yeah your right."
After all that people started coming into the classroom Dylan sat down at a desk. She looked back seeing her mom and Gale coming in the room. She was surprised for her mom to be here but knew she needed more info about stuff and of course knowing Gale tried to  bribe Robbie and Charlie into this. 
"Ok cinema club we are now in session welcome tell you a little bit about ourselves we are a sanctioned after-school activity, one ring below the Glee Club and two above Nintendo Wii Fit and let me just say to our guest Sidney Prescott, it's an honor" Charlie spoke while Dylan couldn't help but playfully roll her eyes to. 
"Beyond Jamie Lee Curtis forgot Linda Blair I mean this is the ultimate and of course having Dylan here as our classmate as well" Robbie spoke making Dylan chuckle. 
"Thanks I guess um this you flim your entire high school experience and what post it on the net?" Sidney said of course referring to Robbie's camera. 
"Everybody be doing it someday Sid" Robbie remarks. 
"It's kind of the one component the killers missing" Charlie says. 
"Wait what do you mean?" Gale says butting in the conversation. 
"Well if you wanna be the new-new version the killer should be fliming he murders" Charlie tells her. 
"Yeah it's the natural next step in a psycho slasher innovation I mean you flim them all real time and then before you get caught you upload them into cyberspace" Robbie says. 
"Making your art as immortal as you" Charlie adds on. 
"Not to implicate him/me" Robbie and Charlie say in unison. 
"So who do you think is behind the murders" Dylan spoke up making them all look at her. 
"Well it's a stab fanatic clearly working on less of a shriekquel and more of a scream-make" Charlie replies. 
"Copyrighted terms by the way" Robbie says turning on his camera and started walking around the room. 
"Cause all there are now are remakes only horror studios green light I mean there are still rules" Charlie kept going when Kirby went "psst" altering the Prescott's turning around as she shows her phone to them linking to the footage of Robbie's camera. 
"Yeah you gotta have an opening sequence that blows the doors off dial up some flashy music video direction, and the kills gotta be more extreme" Robbie says. 
"Modern audiences get savvy to the rules of the originals so the reversals become the new standard in fact the only surefire way to survive a modern horror movie? You pretty much have to be gay" Charlie says making the come of the class laugh.
"So why are you so sure that the killer's working by the rules of a horror movie?" Gale asks annoyed. 
"The original stab structure is pretty apparent" Robbie says moving to walk around again. 
"Yeah two kids killed in a house when their parents are away" Charlie says. Dylan knew for a fact he was referring to Jenny and Marnie. 
"And then the schools hot chick 'savaged beyond recognition' Robbie says. 
"We all know where it goes from there" Charlie says. 
"A party" the mother and daughter duo say. 
"Exactly a party, guaranteed third act main cast bloodbath" Charlie says looking at the two. 
"Fingers crossed on some nudity for a change" Robbie says standing back next to Charlie. Some of the class murmured and laughed. 
"Ok so do you know of a party that's happening tonight?" Gale asks coming closer to the two boys. 
"Well there's Stab-A-Thon" Charlie admits. 
"Stab-A-Thon?" Sidney asks getting up out of her seat. 
"It's a movie marathon all seven stabs back to back we do it every year" Charlie says. 
"And it's tonight? There's a killer out there patterning his murders after the original movie" Sidney confirms. 
"Yeah I know it's pretty wild" Charlie says with a smug look. Dylan buries her hands in her face cringing at this conversation knowing that this lecture ain't gonna stop them from doing this. 
"Well you have to call it off" Sidney says. 
"Ok I mean it's Friday I'm sure were not the only party that's going on in Woodsboro" Robbie says. 
"Ok where is this circle jerk gonna take place?" Gale asks. 
"So who's ready for this Q & A? " Charlie asks the class ignoring her question. 
"No, no I really want the location"
"You know it's kind of an underground thing email invites, pretty secret" Charlie says making eye contact with the reporter making Gale chuckle. 
"What your not gonna tell me? Really? We're working together remember?" Gale reminds them. 
"So are you ready for that Q & A?" Charlie asks still ignoring Gale. 
"Fuck you, let's go Dylan your not going" Gale says grabbing Sidney's arm and walking out of the room. 
After all that the class ended and Dylan grabbed her bag and walked out the door catching up with Kirby. 
"Well that went nice" Kirby says as they walked. 
"Yeah now I know I'm definitely not going" Dylan says having her eyes glued to the floor. 
"Oh come on Dyl you still can every tried sneaking out?" Kirby asks. 
"I don't know I mean people don't get it there's a real killer on the loose and don't give jack shit they don't care or fully know the shit me and my mom went through it's just- *sighs* I don't know I'm sorry I'm over exaggerating about my fucked up life" Dylan sighs as they made it to their lockers and she leaned on it banging the side of her head on it. 
"Don't be it's fine people like listening to the final girls fucked up life" Kirby says making Dylan snort as she was used to being a so called 'Final Girl'
"Ok I'll try and sneak out" Dylan confirms. 
"Cool I'll pick you and Jill up around 8ish" Kirby says which Dylan nods to. 
"Hey your gonna be fine" Kirby comforts.
"Yeah thanks" Dylan says with a small smile.
Let's hope this night doesn't turn to a shitshow.
