Izuku Midoriya, the most handsome boy in all the land, the son of the 'craziest' genius woman in town.

Izuku walked into to town as usual, with a bright smile on his face, carrying a book in his hands. He starts humming to himself as he walked down the street to the bookshop.

"Oh hey, Izuku..." Said a voice from the distance. Izuku rolled his bright green eyes and turned around to see exactly who he knew it was - Shoto Todoroki.

"Do not address me as Izuku! I'm not your significant other!" Izuku said, feeling sorry that he was using such angst.

"Ha, you'll be mine soon enough, Izuku. You will marry me and we will be rich and powerful!" Todoroki boasted, and Izuku couldn't help but roll his eyes and turned away, almost running digging his nose into his book once again.

I can't stand him... I hate being so rude, but its just on my nerves! Izuku thought to himself, and walked into a small shop door, A little bell ringing as he entered.

The man at the counter immediately recognized him and perked his head up.

"Young Midoriya! So happy to see you again. Did you finish that book yet?" The man, also known as Toshinori Yagi, asked.

"It was extremely long, but yes, I did! And I took your advice on writing. The story is going fairly well, and I can't wait for when I finish it!" Izuku said, his eyes lighting up at the thought of books and reading.

Izuku returned his book, and picked a new one. He then waved to Toshinori and left, running down the street eager to start reading.

"Mom! I'm home!" Izuku yelled, hoping his mother, Inko Midoriya would hear.

She lifted her head up from the desk she was working at, and blinked her eyes a few times.

"Oh, Izuku! I think I've almost done it! The machine is almost done!" Inko said, a smile lighting up her face.

"That's great mom! I'm so happy!" Izuku said, proud of his mom and her interesting intelligence and machine.

His mom looked down with a sad smile.

"Well... I said almost... For some reason it keeps jamming up..." She said, and Izuku started to think deeply.

He walked over the odd looking contraption and looked at it. Opening the top compartment to reveal a spool of thread, he took a paperclip and bent it, making a very small loop in it.

Izuku took a match and lit it, securing the ends of the paperclip with the loop in place on the machine. He slid the end of the thread through the loop, and thread it through, following it down to the tip of the part of the machine that is exposed.

"Try this..." Izuku said, his mother looking up, realizing what Izuku had done was genius, and wouldn't tangle the thread anymore.

She started to push on a little pedal with her hand, and the needle at the tip weave in and out of a fabric she was attempting to make an embroidery on.

"Izuku! It works! Your an absolute genius!" Inko said, wrapping her son in a hug.

"I try... I really do!" He replied, smiling and hugging her back.

He couldn't understand why everyone in town thought she was crazy. The townspeople should be applauding her for her hard work! She was a female, but she deserved the respect of a man!

His mother decided to leave that evening for the inventors' convention the next day.

"Oh, Izuku, I'll miss you!" She said, and started to tear up as she waved away.

Izuku waved back, tears threatening to fall in his own eyes.
