Author's Note
This story is almost over. I will try to update tomorrow but will not have Internet connection for most of the day. Stay tuned for a new fanfic. I have a lot of new ideas and hope you have all enjoyed this story, I know I have. I have never written here before so the amount if reads that I have gotten truly amazes me. Thank you all. 
                          
Bucky's Point of View 
                          
I woke up the next morning to the light streaming in through the window. I kept my eyes closed relaxing and remembering last night. Last night was amazing and I would never forget it. I rolled over and expected to see Nicole there but she wasn't. I sat up and looked around the room and didn't see her. I threw on a shirt and some shorts and walked into the living room. I found her sitting in the couch on her laptop typing away. I went over to her and sat down. I looked at the computer and saw that she was typing a rather long response. 
                          
"Morning," I said and kissed her in the cheek. 
                          
"Morning," she said smiling. "I finally got a response. Fury sent back directions to a safe house that he wants us to meet Coulson and the rest of his team at. Can you be ready in an hour to leave?" She asked me. 
                          
"Yeah. What should we be expecting when we get there?" I asked her. 
                          
"No idea. The only one I know that will be there is Coulson for sure." She closed her laptop and rested her head on me. I wrapped my arms around her.
                          
"So how's your night?" She asked with a smirk. 
                          
"Eh it was alright," I answered sarcastically. 
                          
"Sure it was just alright," she said in an even more sarcastic voice. 
                          
"Haha I'm just kidding. Last night was amazing," I said and kissed her on her forehead. She turned around and kissed me full on the lips. The kiss quickly turned into something more passionate until she finally pulled away leaving me breathless. 
                          
"Someone's a little kissy this morning," he said laughing. 
                          
"So?" She asked with what only could be described as a sassy head movement. 
                          
"Nothing," I said. "Time to get ready to go then."

                          
Nicole's Point of View
                          
An hour later we were in the car driving towards where we were supposed to be meeting Coulson. We talked about random things as we drove along. He sang to the old songs that I had found and put onto my phone. Surprisingly he had a very nice voice. As we drove, I couldn't help but be somewhat in edge. We had been living in a hotel for the past four days and had no sign of Hydra. 
                          
"Hey Bucky," I said. Before I could say another word I felt something hit the car. I looked behind us and saw that there was a car following us. "Take care of them," I told Bucky. He grabbed the gun but before he could start firing, the car flipped due to whatever had hit the car. I felt my head go forward and hit my head in the steering wheel and everything went dark. 
                          
"Nicole," I heard a voice calling me. It sounded faint and far away. "Nicole!" I heard someone yell again louder. I opened my eyes and groaned. Everything hurt and I felt faint. I looked over and saw Bucky firing at the people in the car. They had stopped at this point and started to fight. I had to help him 
I tried getting out of the car but my arm was pinned. I opened the door and started to tug and tug until my arm came out. I heard a pop but chose to ignore it. I grabbed the gun and started walking towards goth fight. I began firing drawing attention to myself. Bucky was doing well enough for himself but I was able to take out two already. I heard a shot being fired out of my line of vision and felt a burning in my abdomen. I looked down and started to see blood staining my shirt. I felt weak and before I hit the ground I was out. 
                          
I was dying and I could feel it. I would never tell Bucky I loved him. I hoped he would be okay after I was gone. He was becoming a better person. He would be fine without me. Coulson and Fury would take car of him. 
                          
I would never finish my mission. I had failed and there was nothing I could do about it.
