"Konichiwa ladies and gentlemen here I'm your host Tetsuya Komuro and here with me we have one the fastest rising groups in Japan: AKB48" Komuro announced as all the girls waved towards the camera.

"There's so many girls how do you all manage with so many members?"

Oshima spoke first. "We already have a system of organization that helps with it. We are currently split into three teams. You all know me as Yuko Oshima captain of team K, Mariko Shinoda here is captain of Team A and Kazumi Urano is the captain of team B" Oshima explained.

"So basically, you girls are in separate team and you all come together during the release new singles." Komuro summarized.

"Not exactly" Mariko raised her hand up. Komuro nodded signaling her to talk.

"We have what you call Senbatsu election where the fans vote on who could potentially participate. The ones with the highest ranks are chosen to participate." Mariko explained with a smile.

"I hear they call you Mariko-sama by your peers."

"I know and it's such a lovely ring to it!! Of course, I'm the captain of Team A and one of the eldest in AKB48 as their senpai I strive to bring out the best in them whether by doing group projects or do weekly hangouts" Mariko introduced herself cheerfully.

"Some fans say you have a "scary" personality and that you have a strict way of leading your team care to explain Oshima-san"

Oshima's lip twitched slightly before breathing a deep sigh. "Figures word would get out by some random idiot, but yes I do have a strict way to discipline, but I don't simply do it because I'm mean. I come from a military family and the way things worked is you do what you're told without second question and that's what I teach to my team. Only sheer discipline will bring out the best of my team and that's why we consistently rank high in performance" Oshima said with proud smirk on her face.

"That may be true Yuu-chan, but your team consistently ranks very low on appeal which is something important as an idol and is it something my team excels at. It's gotten to the point where Team B is starting to rank higher than you" Mariko smirked at her incensed reaction.

"What are trying to say Mari-chan that I don't do my job" she said dangerously.

"That's exactly what I'm saying. As an idol you need to lighten up more. You can't be grouchy 24/7. You need to smile it's good for your youth." Mariko giggled before speaking to Komuro.

"You should have seen the days when we debuted. If Oshima didn't have her way she gets cranky and she goes full Terminator. I feel for those poor girls who have to deal with Oshima's temper daily" Mariko replied smirking at Oshima's attempted to restrain herself not to jump from her seat.

"And what about you Urano-san what is your approach to training your team" Komuro asked the eldest member.

"The way Oshima and Shinoda-san's approach and the way I handle my team are very different. While they take a more active role, I tend to be more passive and let the girls grow on their own with additional guidance of course" Urano explained.

"I see... I also hear they call you "okaasan" is that true?"

"Yes, since the age gap between my team and myself is quite noticeable I do get called that by my kouhais, but it's out of respect. When the team does well enough, I reward them with all sorts of delicious treats that I make and you can ask my teammates they will all vouch for me". Urano said as Team B nodded in approval.

"You have a small team compared to the other two when did Team B formed?"

"Nearly two years ago at the end of 2007 since Team A and K had already too much members I was simply made it's captain. Mayu, Natsumi, and Yuki we're the first ones to join, and Ayumi, Jurina, and Rino came much later. Initially it was a four-member team and we were the last team to practice. Because of that we were overshadowed by the other teams but that all changed once Ayumi and Jurina joined our team" Urano explained to Komuro about her team history.
