Y/n's POV
Xiao led me back into the house. You made a big mistake.. you will suffer the consequences of following him. I tried to ignore her but she was more active than before. She was filled with hatred and rage and I felt them all. 
Back at the house, Zhongli, Aether and Paimon talked among themselves. I glanced at Aether and instinctively shrank behind Xiao. Xiao had told me that this was Aether's Serenitea Pot and I had broken a glass window. 
When Xiao and I joined their little group, the three stared at me. I wished I could get swallowed by the ground at this very moment. 
"How are you feeling, Y/n?" Aether asked. Xiao moved back letting Aether come into my line of sight.
"Aether- about that window.." I awkwardly scratched my head.
"It's alright, I don't live in here anyways. Tubby will find a way to fix that."
"Tubby?" Who's that?
"Tubby is Aether's Teapot Spirit. You know, that little bird in a teapot just outside the house." Paimon chirps.
"Oh, so that's Tubby."
"So.. are how are you feeling?" Aether repeats his unanswered question.
"For the moment, I feel fine.." I said. I wondered what are the 'consequences' that She could cause.
"It's good to have you back, Y/n. I suggest that you stay here while you recover. There's no doubt that the Fatui are trying to find you." Zhongli spoke.
"What about the monsters that lurk in Liyue? I can't stay here and stop protecting Liyue."
"Xiao will cover for you." I looked at Xiao to see that he wasn't happy with this arrangement.
"Ugh.." A sudden pain pierced my chest and it feels like a knife just stabbed me, slowly moving about and causing the pain to last longer. I fell to my knees as I held my chest. What is she doing!? My eyes were wide open but everything was flickering black.

Xiao's POV
Y/n fell to their knees as they held their chest, seemingly in pain. I rush to their side and held them tight.
"Y/n, what's wrong?" I asked, but Y/n continues groaning in pain.
"Is Y/n going to be ok?" Paimon squeals. The three hovered over Y/n, worried.
"Give them some space!" I said in frustration. The three backed away while I continue to tend to Y/n.
"Y/n, can you hear me?" They didn't respond, tears started flowing down their face.
"Y/n..." As I rubbed their tears away, I noticed that their eyes were acting up. Their eyes would turn completely black and revert to normal, in tune with their breathing. Just like the other Yakshas.. 
"The pills.." I muttered, I quickly grabbed mine and opened the lid of the bottle with one hand. 
"Xiao wait, don't give them so many pills." Zhongli rushed to me and took the bottle before I could take any out.
"But Y/n-"
"They still have time." Zhongli took one out and fed Y/n.
"How is one enough?"
"It isn't, but if you gave them more than one it would make them succumb to the dark faster. These pills are not meant to stop karmic debt, they just suppress the effects momentarily." Zhongli replied firmly. 
"Xiao.." Y/n whispered under their breath. Their eyes had stopped flickering black.
"Y/n, you're ok now. I'll bring Y/n to the bedroom." I carried Y/n and teleported back to the bedroom. I laid Y/n on the bed, making sure that they would be comfortable.
"Get some rest. I'll check on you later." As I turned to leave, I felt a light tug on my hand.
"Xiao.." I moved closer to Y/n to hear what they were saying as they spoke softly. "If I fall.. save me.. but... if I fall.. too deep... promise me.."
".. you'll end me.."

Hellooo I'm gonna have my holidays after this week so I'm rushing I pray I can post another part soon haha. Hope you enjoyed this book hehe.

Also I made another book for Genshin one-shots. Currently there is Albedo X Kazuha. Explanation of why I made this couple is stated at the end of the story.

Ahem.. a little rant here. XIAO HOW DARE YOU TRY SACRIFICING YOURSELF!!! I swear at that moment I almost cried, praying traveler would save them TwT. But thank god Zhongli did. My heart broke seeing Xiao's wounds and I thought Hoyoverse would really kill Xiao qwq. Best and worst archon quest to me. Precious Xiao, must protect!!!
