Shota and Mono had a problem.
That problem was the fast approaching death of Sakumo Hatake.
It was about a month since the Academy started and the mission that would ruin his reputation was fast approaching, if not already upon them.
This is hella stressful

They had given it a lot of thought and decided they had to intervene. Even if it effected the time line, it ruins Kakashi's life, and if they didn't try to prevent that then there was no way they could look the young Hatake in the face ever again.
So they made a plan. A pretty stupid plan but hey, at least they had a plan.

Mono stood in front of Shibito. Their dad had returned from the mission and decided to spend the day with Shota training his powers. The other members of Shibito's ANBU team were there too.
They had just finished with blackmailing the hospital about the 'loose mouths' they employed, and to keep a tighter leash on their problem. Luckily the administrators were very...understanding...of the situation the six ANBU brought to their attention.
The whole team had the day off and decided that because literally non of them have their own family, they would chill together with Shibito and his children. After all they considered themselves to be aunts and uncles to the two.
"Dad?" Mono spoke quietly.
The hardened ANBU members had to hold back their vocal reactions.
Dad was also having a hard time hiding his reaction.
'OH MY KAMI THEY CALLED ME DAD!'
He had a calm persona on and spoke with a level tone. "What is it Mono?"
Mono was looking at the grass by their feet. They were all in the forest away from the village so Shota and Mono could train in private. The tall dark trees hid them from prying eyes and was the perfect place to train the kekkei genkai. The two would keep their power up analyzing the ANBU team's networks for minutes before needing a rest.
Mono looked up at the tall man in front of them.
"Umm..you know how Shota has powers?"
Shibito knelt down to hear Mono's whispers better. "Yes."
"Well...you could say I have one too." Shibitos eyes widened and the rest of the group froze. Two members wearing crow and frog masks faced towards the forest while the rest jogged over and sat around Mono. Some leaned in and Mono could feel their interest pouring throughout their chakra.
