The Goblet of Fire

♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

Sadie made her way to the Great Hall for lunch, talking to Lavender Brown, when a voice she hadn't heard in a long time got her attention.

"Sadie!"

Sadie looked up and her blue eyes lit up when she saw her younger brother, William, running toward her. Will had dark brown hair with big brown eyes and rosy cheeks.

"Will!" she said happily as she held her arms out and her brother ran into her arms and hugged her tightly.  "Oh, I missed you!"

"Guess what!" Will said happily, letting go of his sister and beaming.

"What?" Sadie asked grinning.

"I'm going to Hogwarts in September!" Will said beaming, "I got my letter!"

"You got your letter?" Sadie asked as Will beamed.

"I got my letter!" Will said as Sadie grinned. "Now come on! Let's have lunch!" Sadie chuckled as Will grabbed her hand and dragged her over to the Gryffindor table.

"Lou!" Cassie said happily as she saw her older sister sitting with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Mrs. Weasley, Bill, Charlie and Simon at the Gryffindor table.

"Sades!" Louise said, standing up and hugging her baby sister. "Oh, I've missed you."

"Hey Cass," Simon said grinning as Sadie let go of Louise and hugged Simon tightly while Will hugged his eldest sister.

"Hello, Sadie," said Mrs. Weasley, much more stiffly than usual.

"Hello," said Sadie, her smile faltering at the cold expression on Mrs. Weasley's face.

Harry looked between them, then said, "Mrs. Weasley, you didn't believe that rubbish Rita Skeeter wrote in Witch Weekly, did you? Because Cassie's not my girlfriend."

"Oh!" said Mrs. Weasley "No, of course I didn't!"

But she became considerably warmer toward Sadie after that.

"Sades?" Simon asked as the blonde looked at her brother. "Take a walk?"

"Sure," Sadie said as she got up and followed her brother out of the Great Hall. They made their way out of the castle and walked around the castle grounds.

"I know I haven't been there for you as much this year," Simon said, his hands in his pockets, "and I'm sorry for that."

"It's okay," Sadie said smiling, "I know why you haven't." Simon smiled.

"Sadie," Simon said as Sadie looked at her brother, "in case something goes wrong, you're my favourite sister." Sadie chuckled.

"You say that to both of us, but I will choose to believe you because you, are my favourite brother," Sadie said as Simon laughed.

"But seriously Sades," Simon said as the blonde looked at him, "you need to believe in yourself more. You are a smart, sometimes cocky, confident and also terrifying witch and you can do anything you want. You'll pass your exams with the highest scores, you'll get happily married, have a few kids, obviously you will name one after me, and you'll be happy." Sadie chuckled as she nodded as they carried on walking. "Sades?"

"Yeah?"

"If you love someone, you tell them," he said as Sadie looked at him. "Even if you're scared that it's not the right thing. Even if you're scared that it'll cause problems. Even if you're scared that it will burn your to the ground, you say it, and you say it loud and you go from there. I know you love Fred, even if you don't want to admit it," he added as Sadie hesitated, then nodded. "It's okay, I approve anyway." Sadie laughed as they kept walking. "There's going to be a day when I'm not here, and you need to believe you can survive on your own because I know you can." Sadie stopped walking and shook her head.
