*Crunch*
*CHING!*
A blade furiously stabbed itself into a Kingsmould's shoulder, I then flipped over the Kingsmould and brought the Kingsmould into the air. Before slamming him into the cold ground, it shook in resistance of its death.
I gently walked over to the Kingsmould and crushed its head using my foot, its body melted into the ground, staining the snow black.
Excursion: "Why does he continue to send Kingsmould's after me?"
I asked myself as I pulled my hood lower, I was starting to get more cautious and on my feet. The blizzard continued to get worse, I needed to get out soon. I started to run forward, crushing rock and sending snow flying into the air.
I was moving so quickly that it caused some snow to melt underneath my feet, I saw a wall and quickly turned, causing smoke to come out of my legs. I continued to run forward, I could see that the snow lessened, and I could see more clearly.
I stopped running and then started to walk instead, I was tired from all of my running. I could see small leaves growing on the edges of rocks, and there were multiple fat bugs that calmly floated in the air.
I sat down on the ground and decided to take a break, after all, I think I deserve it. I stared at the bugs who were seemingly unaffected by everything, they reminded me of clouds. Clouds moved slowly and were barely even affected by anything even if a plane flew through them.
/~Flashback~/
I laid on the soft grass, it was a pure green and was reaching up at the sky trying to grasp the bright sun. The sky was vibrant with life, the fluffy cotton clouds floated in the sky. I turned my head and saw a man standing there looking up at the sky, he was visibly old with wrinkles on his face. His hair has long faded into white, he stared up into the sky and looked at it as if a diamond was in it.
His long trench coat swayed elegantly in the air, as he held his fedora to his chest tightly. The man stopped looking at the sky and faced me with a face full of wisdom. I urged myself to listen to what he had to say.
???: "Micheal, my son. What do you see in the sky?"
Micheal: "I see the clouds and some birds? It's beautiful for sure, though."
Father: "Hmm, I see an unopened box of jewels, one that holds the beauty in this world. But it will take someone to be brave enough to open it, someone who will experience hell and also see the greatness in this world."
Micheal: "You sure have a great imagination, dad."
My father chuckled as he placed his soft fedora on my head and rubbed it. My father was a wonderful, fantastic man who was very famous in this small town, we lived in. I'm happy that I at least have him here, my dad reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a gorgeous red flower.
Father: "It may be my imagination, but even the greatest constructs and things in this world came from someone's head."
My father said gently as he tilted his body forward and placed the flower on the ground. He turned around and with a grin he said.
Father: "Lets head home, though when you start playing Hollow Knight don't forget to kill your shade this time."
Micheal: "It was a one time thing!"
Father: "He-he, alright."
My father said as he took the fedora off of my head and placed it on his. The wind suddenly picked up, causing the flower to blow away in the wind, I looked at father, but it seemed like he did not care about it.
I stood up and patted all the grass off of my clothes, I then started to run to my father who was standing near his black car.
/Flashback Over/
Excursion: "..... I wonder how he is doing now, since I am not there with him anymore."
I wondered as I stood up, the place was getting darker and the bugs went to sleep. I walked forward and almost fell. I looked down and saw a steep slope that had sharp rocks sticking out of it, there were some roots that hanged on the slope, but they seemed to be dead.
I took a step back, I was not going to get any closer to the slope because I did not want to fall down. I inspected the area to see if there was another way for me to leave here, I soon found a staircase made of crystallized honey, the golden staircase descended deeper and deeper down.
Excursion: "Since there is no other way to continue without going back to the blizzard, I need to go down here."
I walked down the staircase, I struggled to move around because some honey got stuck to my leg and made it stick to the ground. I raised my nail and pried the honey off of my leg. I continued deeper and deeper into the staircase, the buzzing of millions of bees were now the only thing I could hear.
The staircase was slowly turning from a fantastic gold color to a murky brown, I was no longer sticking to the ground. It seems like the upper parts of the staircase were made recently, I saw a hexagonal shaped door.
I walked through the door and saw many bee's working in unison, they were moving and producing honey. There were also bee's that were bigger than the others, they were just observing them as they did the work.
I crouched down on the ground, I knew that the big bee had the ability to turn into a drill. I'm not sure if my natural armor could protect me against that, I started to slowly move while hugging the wall.
Hopefully the exit is in this place, I heard some buzzing behind me. I turned around quickly and saw one of the drones staring at me while holding honey in its small hands.
Excursion: ".... I don't want to hurt you since you didn't do anything to me, but if you warn those bees over there, then you're not going to see tomorrow."
The bee looked at me as if it was considering something, then it started to fly away quickly. I dashed at it and then grabbed it, it squirmed around to get out of my grip, but I was too strong. I then thought of something, what if I became an ally of the Hive? They could provide me many bonuses, and I really like bee's.
Excursion: "Look, I got a deal for you and your hive, I'll hand you something important if we can become allies."
The bee stopped moving, and I opened up the menu in my system, I looked around before I saw Royal Jelly from Slime Rancher. Royal Jelly is very sweet and probably is important.
I bought it, and it was surprisingly cheap because it is only a food and can be used to make some things that aren't used for combat. I guess the system makes things more expensive if they can be used in combat or to do something to my body?
I reached behind me as a Royal Jelly spawned in my hand, I then showed it to the bee and opened its lid. The bee looked at the Royal Jelly, I let it go but still held onto my nail in case it decided to fly away.
The bee flew to the Royal Jelly and started to take a little nibble of it. Then it started to fly while looking at me, I then received a system notification.

Excursion: "I guess we are allies."
