Cyrus Romano

"You can't run from me, boy"  My uncle spits as chases after me with a gun.

I need to find her.

I could care less that he is after me.

He has my Rose and I need to get her back.

Everything else can fuck off.

I look in one room; empty. I look in another room; Empty. Where the fuck is she?

"You can try and find her but I'll have her dead before you can get the chance" He yells, his voice echoing through the dark hallways.

I have no clue where I am. It's just one long hallway with doors on either side the entire way. There's no exit door, the hallway never ends. It's barely lit up by a few dull lights.

My breathing is heavy as I keep running, looking in every room. The thought of finding her is the only thing going through my head right now. My own brain is screaming at me, loud and controlling.

Find her.

Find her.

Find her.

Over and over again. It wont stop.

I don't want it to. I need it there, keeping me distracted from my uncle behind me.

"Uh oh, Cyrus's little wife is almost dead" He laughs, his foot steps getting heavier and closer. She's not just my wife, she's my entire fucking world and space. She's my gravity.

Without her I'll float away into the sky, nothing holding me down. There's nothing to grab on to because she's the only thing in my life worth grabbing on to.

I stop. I think. I come up with an idea. I turn around. I press my back against a dark section of the wall and wait until my uncle comes. And then I punch him. Hard.

His gun drops from his hand and I take the opportunity to grab him by the shirt and slam him against the wall. Hard.

"Tell me where the fuck she is" I scream, on the verge of completely breaking. I pull him off the wall and slam him against it again. Harder.

He body shakes as he laughs, "You might want to find her before I put a bullet in both of your heads"

I yell. I drop him. And I run

Find her.

Find her.

Find her.

I come to a halt. The hallway finally ends and there's a door. All the other doors are brown but this one isn't; This one is red.

She better be in there.

I run to the door, slamming it open. It's filled with random shit but along the back wall is a girl curled up with a rope around her wrists.

It's her.

She looks up quickly, her eyes filled with fear. "Help me" She pleads weakly "I- don't know how I got here"

I feel like breaking. My heart is beating outside of my chest and my breathing is even heavier than before.

I sprint towards her, my eyes never straying from her terrified gaze. I kneel down beside her, taking her face in my hands, hoping my expression gives away none of my own fear.
