"Where are y'all headed?" Scar asked.

He's the nosiest person I've ever met. He literal wants to know every detail. I know it's from a good place but what if I was at a porter potty or somewhere embarrassing?

"I'm taking Major on to the aquarium and then on a mini date." I told him as I pulled into the daycare center.

Major and I really haven't had much one on one time and I want to do something special for him. Especially while he can go in most places free.

"Oh really? So the little man gets the date?" Scar said fake hurt.

What can I say, I'm a very busy woman.

"Yup, now what are you doing tomorrow morning?" I asked.

It's my turn to plan a date. Grant it, I don't know what he likes, I'm still in the planning phase. Maybe I can feed off of his schedule and what he makes time for.

"Nothing," he said with a shrug.

"Nothing? Deuce told me you said you were going to the gym," I said with raised eyebrows as I punched in my code to the entrance.

"Yeah, but if you wanna do something then I don't have to go," he said effortlessly making me frown.

This guy is extremely gun hoe about working out and his fitness, so I'm not going to lie, him being willing to cancel for me is slightly flattering. We made it Joe!

"What time?" I asked.

"Imma get there at like 6:30," he said with a huff.

He's the one who wanted to go to the gym, not me so I don't know why he's huffing.

"Ok, be there,"" I said firmly.

He's put so much effort into doing things I like, so I have to do something he likes. Even though I'm in terrible shape and hate working out, I think the sacrifice is worth it.

"Yes ma'am," he said in the mock soldier voice.

"Bye, I like you," I said quickly.

It was still almost completely surreal to say it and I still blush and get butterflies from it.

"I like you too, let me know when y'all get home," he told me.

That's an order. He literally flips out whenever I don't call him or text him.

"Ok," I said before hanging up.

"Manii!" I heard Major yell making me look up.

I literally drifted to his classroom without
paying a bit of attention.

"Hey!" I said picking him up.

I was always excited to pick him up because I always felt off when he was away from me and in someone's care that's not a relative. I've really grown to trust the daycare but that doesn't mean I'm not relived when he yells my name every day at 3:00.
