Michael's pov
I had my hand resting gently on top of Frances stomach as we took a little nap,but unfortunately the nap was interrupted by a crashing noise.I immediately shot up while Frances shook and widened her eyes,I quickly grabbed her and held her close to me.I could feel my heart beating out of my chest,"Michael!"I heard Hallie call out.she rushed into my room,"What was that?!"I exclaimed."WHAT THE FUCK?!WHO THREW A ROCK THROUGH MY FUCKING WINDOW?!"we heard Dave yell,I guess I should explain something:due to all of Courtney's threats,Krist and Shelli relocated me and Frances to Dave and Jennifer's(Dave's girlfriend)home.
Looks like it didn't stop the threats,Hallie(who was visiting me)and I left the guest room and made our way into the living room.Jennifer was on the phone,assumably calling 9-1-1,and Dave was pacing around with his hands clenched into fists.Hallie picked up the rock,"give me back my baby you bitch."she read the rock out loud.I began to tear up,"Micah?"Hallie said,putting her hand on my shoulder.I flinched and moved away from her hand,"this won't end..."I began to panic."Michael..."I held Frances closer to me."I-I need to leave."i said,she widened her eyes."you can't leave Michael,she'll still find you."she said,trying to think rationally.
"Next time she comes back I'm gonna fucking deck her!"Dave yelled,"you can't solve this with violence Dave!"Jennifer yelled as she put the phone down.I ran out the room,making my way back to the guest room.I sat down in the corner of the room,Frances looked at me and babbled.I sighed,letting a few tears roll down my cheeks."I'm sorry bean,I'm trying my best to be strong for you but..."I trailed off,I sobbed.
"Papa."
I widened my eyes and looked at her,"did...did she just call you papa?"Hallie asked as she entered the room.Dave and Jennifer were behind her,tears kept flowing down my cheeks."she...she did..."I whispered,Frances cupped my cheeks.I looked at her,she smiled at me."Papa!"she said,"holy fuck..."I heard Dave whisper.I held her close to me and cried,Hallie walked towards me and sat down next to me.I felt her hugging me,Dave and Jennifer joined in on the hug.
