You couldn't believe what Odin had told you. The idea of how powerful you'd become without even knowing it was less than comforting. All you could focus on was getting to your husbands, getting to the two people who can help you understand and control this.
You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn't hear Thor, let alone see him as he stepped in front of you. You crashed into him, almost crashing to the floor before he caught you.
"Woah, Spitfire slow down. What's wrong?" Thor asked, slowly guiding you out onto the balcony nearby. He hoped the fresh air would help calm you enough to talk to him.
You took a breath, grateful that he'd found you before Loki and Bucky. If they had seen you in this state they would've fled Asgard before listening to a word you'd got to say.
"Oh just the fact I've absorbed all of Surtur's power and the eternal flame is begging me to destroy Asgard." You began pacing around the small balcony, running your hands through your hair. "Just a usual Tuesday."
"That's..." Thor shook his head, not entirely sure what to say to that. "Wow."
"Yeah, do that a few more times and you'll catch up to where I am now." You leant against the concrete balustrade, looking down at the twinkling lights of Asgard below you.
"What are you going to do?" Thor asked as he came to your side.
That was the big question. The question you didn't quite have the answers to.
"Freak out with you a bit longer before I freak out with my husbands." You half joked.Thor laughed, knowing how your mouth tends to run away with you when you're stressed. He wished he had the answers you desperately needed, the answers that would help make this easier for you; but he was as clueless as you as to what the best path would be.
"I'm glad I could amuse you Thunder." You sigh, knowing its not him you're mad at. Not really, he's just the closest person to you that you won't push away by being a sarcastic pain in the ass.
Thor turned to you, taking your hands in his. "You are the strongest woman I know. If anyone can work this out, it's you."
"Have I ever told you how useless you are at advice?" You teased.
"Once or twice."
"Yet you never seem to get better at it."
"It's not my advice you need. Go and find them." Thor encourages you. He pauses, giving you a much needed genuine smile. "My sister."
Your heart swells at him referring to you as his sister. He was your best friend and now your brother too. You all but jumped into his arms his chest vibrating as he chuckled at the sudden outburst of affection. Thor didn't need you to marry his brother to feel like you were part of his family. Now it was just official.

Somehow over the next few days, you'd managed to go from 'I need to talk to Bucky and Loki' to 'I don't know how to talk to Bucky and Loki'. The result had been in you waiting until they'd fallen asleep before you crawled into bed, and waking up before them and disappearing off to explore Asgard. It truly was a beautiful place, you couldn't help but consider Odin's offer. There were worse places to live than Asgard.
Loki was nowhere to be found when you woke this morning, something that was very rare. You began getting ready to go out again, when Bucky appeared behind you wrapping his arms around you. He knew you'd been avoiding him and he'd had enough.
"What's going on doll?" He asked, placing a kiss against your neck. You wanted to tell him nothing, that everything was fine; but the longer you stayed in his arms, the more you felt your walls crumbling.
"I'm scared Buck." You admitted, finally voicing what had been plaguing you since the night of the party.
