A smile decorated your face as you watched the blond-haired male before you—Mikey, who was munching on a convenience store-bought dorayaki. He was quite a messy eater and you couldn't help but find it cute; there are some crumbs decorated the corners of his mouth and he didn't even bothered to wipe it off with the tissue before him on the table.
He. . he looked like a squirrel. You thought, the amused smile on your face never fading a bit.
You see, the reason why you and Mikey are right now hanging out in a convenience store, watching Mikey eat his dorayakis and you, just simply drinking a cold tea drink, is because on your way back to home; as Mikey did promised you to accompany you back home so you wouldn't get into trouble with some delinquents around the area, his stomach suddenly grumbled, obviously telling you as clear as daylight that Mikey is hungry.
Thankfully, there was a nearby convenience store you found, so you quickly asked him to eat first to fill his stomach before proceeding to go back home.
You insisted for him to eat something that could fill his stomach up, like a bento lunch box, but Mikey only chose to eat dorayakis instead. You're quite hesitant though, considering that you wanted him to eat something heavy, since it's lunchtime now; well, seeing that the dorayaki is quite large and he had took three packs of it, you just let him be and now, you're just waiting for him to finish his last pack of dorayaki up.
"Mm~ Thank you, (Y/N)-chin~ For paying it and caring for me~" Mikey hummed in delight, finally gulping down the last bite of his dorayaki and wiped the crumbs scattered all over his mouth using his thumb, before licking them off from his finger. Then he sent you a big, beaming smile, allowing you to know that Mikey's finally full and satisfied.
Chuckling gently as you also finished your cold tea drink, you smiled at him, "It's nothing. I can't just ignore the fact that you're hungry. I'm glad that you're full already now."
Mikey's heart swelled with happiness and warmth as he stares at the gentle smile curled up on your lips, and your gentle blue eyes formed into two crescents before they opened again as you took the empty bottle of your drink and threw it on the trash bin that was conveniently placed just beside your table.
Mikey felt so contented and cozy around you, even if he just met you and this might be the second time that he has been around you; although he has come several times to the café—the Mankai Blooming Café, Mikey never interacted with you and he was just contented and satisfied to watch you getting the orders from the customers and delivering them, all with your gentle smile on your face.
