Part 8- Flour Fight
Lucie had woken up tucked up in her own bed. She panics as doesn't remember how she got there in the slightest. She tries to check the time on her phone that was placed beside her bed but failed, the screen refusing to turn on- it was dead. Though she spotted a note placed next to it:
Lucie,
Thank you for a lovely night Tesoro, don't worry- nothing else happened other than our wonderful little kiss. You fell asleep, so I made sure you got into bed safely. Have a lovely day,
With love, Terzo. His familiar handwriting and small little heart made Lucie smile whilst the content of the note itself put her mind at rest as to how she managed to get home.
Terzo was also waking up across the Ministry in his room. He felt particularly lonely this morning, missing the previous day when Lucie was waking up by his side- the cold and spacious sheets making him sorrowfully sigh.
He is not ashamed to admit that throughout his early 20s he's been a bit of a party animal and has maybe built quite a negative reputation for himself in terms of his relationship status. But after really getting to know Lucie, he spent the whole night trying to figure out the feelings and emotions she is causing him to have. Never before has he experienced feelings like this towards someone. He was confused. All he could think about was her. Every time he closed his eyes he saw her face, he heard her laugh, he smelt her delicately-fragranced perfume. He just longed for her to be back by his side again.
He came to the conclusion that he's romantically attracted to Lucie.
He knew he couldn't just get this girl. Not like all of the other Sisters, who would give anything to spend just a second of their time with The Third. No. He understood that in order to make this work and to get what he wants he has to be strategical. He has to play the game. He will have to win her over. And you bet he'd do everything in his power to do so.

Lucie had to admit that getting up and going to work was actually quite beneficial today. It kept her busy and therefore kept her mind off of Terzo. She felt as though she was back in high school again- crushing on the popular boy after he spoke to you once.
After she was finished with all of her morning appointments she headed to get lunch. She knew Lilith wouldn't be waiting for her, as she knew a lot more people than Lucie did, so she never felt guilty going to see Copia instead. She approached his office as she couldn't think of anyone better to speak to right now.
She knocks on his door, "Cardinal? Are you busy?"
"No, no, come in, come in." He repeats his words and he lifts his head from his work, removing his glasses from his face, "Lucie! Lovely to see you my love." She enters and sits on the sofa in his office. "How are you feeling today?"
"I'm good, but to be honest Copia, although I'm not completely over what happened with Tom, that's not what's on my mind right now."
"Please, tell me everything!" He leaves his desk and comes to join her on the sofa, eagerly awaiting the gossip.
"I don't know where to start. I also don't know how to say this without it sounding horrifically cringey. It's Terzo." She sighs. "Ever since I met him I just felt like we connected. I've obviously since learnt about his relationships, or lack of, and it just makes me sad. I genuinely feel like something could be going on- but I'm absolutely so head over heels for him that I can't decide whether he feels the same or I'm just being desperate." Copia holds back a smile.
