Chris POV
This morning I wake up by myself in the basement of Charlie's parents house. I can't deny that I miss Charlie's body curled up against mine. I sigh as the image of her naked body pressed up against mine pops into my mind. I'm already getting hard as a rock.
I suddenly hear loud voices and a lot of noise coming from upstairs. I'm guessing that Charlie's brothers are here. I take a breath to calm myself down and calm my anxiety.
It was intimidating as hell yesterday meeting her dad, and if her older brothers are anything like him, I've got my work cut out for me. I hear a knock on my door, and I softly answer for whomever it is to come in, hoping it's Charlie. To my surprise it's Mike that walks in, with a big smile on his face.
"Not a morning person?" He laughs taking in my half asleep state.
"Not when I'm on vacation." I chuckle as I run a hand through my hair trying to get it to look somewhat normal.
"Well, when there's the amount of people there are upstairs, there's no sleeping in. Charlie asked me to come get you. She looks really happy, and it's been a while since I've seen her like this, if I've even seen her this happy." I smile and hope he doesn't catch the blush that's creeping up my cheeks.
"Well, she makes me incredibly happy, so it's my duty to make her even happier." He nods approvingly.
"Well, I'll let you get up and dressed. I'll be waiting for you out here." I mutter a small thank you and watch as he closes the door.
I get up and pull on some dark wash jeans and a white long sleeve henley. I head to the bathroom and finish my morning routine before I meet Mike in the main basement space. We head up the stairs, catching up after not seeing each other these past few months. He opens the basement door to let me into the kitchen where I'm met by 4 almost identical pairs of blue eyes.
I smile and make my way over to Charlie who is sitting next to her mom. I kiss the top of her head. "Good morning everyone."
"Good morning Chris! Did you sleep okay?" Charlie's mom gets up and offers me a cup of coffee.
I grab it and sit down next to Charlie. "I slept great Mrs. Harris, thank you for asking. Good morning Colonel Harris."
Charlie's dad looks up from his newspaper and eyes me up, still trying to figure me out. "Good morning Chris."
Charlie looks at me with a big smile. "Chris I'd like you to meet my brothers, Command Sergeant Major James Harris, and Sergeant First Class Johnathan Harris. Boys, this is my boyfriend Dr. Chris Evans."
I stand up and shake their hands. They give me strong handshakes and I return them just as strongly. "It's an honor to meet you Sergeant Major Harris, Sergeant First Class Harris."
"It's nice to meet you Chris, I see our Charlie bear here may have taught you a thing or two before your trip here." I see both of her older brothers staring hard at me with their arms crossed making their arms look bigger, and Mike standing behind them trying not to laugh.
I nervously chuckle and rub the back of my neck. "You hush up Jimmy! He just wants to make a good impression." Charlie's mother steps in to help me.
"You boys be nice. He's good to me, and I'm really happy." Charlie looks at me with a big smile.
I smile at her and kiss her cheek softly. "Well, if he's good to my baby sister, he's on my good list, but step a foot out of line, and you won't like me. I didn't get to protect her form the last doctor that hurt her, I won't let that happen again."
"Enough of the intimidation tactics Johnny!" John looks at his mom sheepishly before kissing her cheek and mumbling a soft sorry.
I quickly notice how much of a presence Molly is. Just one look and she has her sons straightening up and doing as they're told. Must come with the years of being a military spouse. I see two women join us now with five kids following behind.
