"Would it make you feel better if we helped ya look for her? give ya some closure?" Dust offered to which he got a nod in response from Horror.

While Dust had been minorly curious about finding another ghost, Killer on the other hand seemed bored by the task. Haunted manor or not, this place was theirs now, and no amount of ghosts is going to scare them off. Plus if they were going to be living here from now on then what's the point in looking for the ghost now? they'd meet eventually..

Killer sighed, accepting the fact that they'd be looking for this ghost either way. I guess this is one way to explore the manor... He wasn't against the idea of meeting this ghost, but did it really have to be their top priority right now? didn't they have bigger things to worry about? like Dream?

Either way, the group began to search through the halls. Not exactly knowing what to look for or where to look, but just looking through each room. Horror was having a hard time settling himself, he felt the strange need to prove that he wasn't going crazy.

Out of the three, Horror was always the one Killer and Dust decided to mess around with the most, all because he wasn't like them.

Although Nightmare's gang had been labelled as the "bad guys," that didn't mean they were bad people... Each of them had their own story, their own unfortunate mistake that led them down the wrong path.

Horror had been the only one out of the five that hadn't gone insane, craved the adrenaline that came from each kill. Horror had only come from a universe that didn't happen to be as fortunate as the rest, but Nightmare saved him.. Nightmare was the one who gave him the offer to get away from everything, and in return Horror whatever Nightmare asked of him. Horror never fit in with the rest...

And ever since Horror first arrived in the castle he did begin to feel at home sure, but he had always been the one they teased. Whether it had been minor things or tormenting him for not being able to tolerate their cruel games.

But Horror cared for them anyway, as they did back. Because at the end of the day, no matter how awful they were to him, it was only who they were... It was almost like Killer and Dust had been his older brothers, only a little more extreme with their pranks.

"So, do you remember what this ghost lady looked like?" Killer asked, flinging an arm over Horror's shoulder.

Horror had taken a second to think, unable to remember your image clearly. Just as his mind began to wander, so did his hands as they made their way up to the crack of his skull. His fingertips scratching over each point before attempting to make their way inside of Horror's skull.

Killer yanked his hand away, knocking Horror out of his trance.

"You need to get out of that habit, Horror..." He said, dropping his hand. Horror went to answer back to him but had been cut off.

"Don't worry about it bud, I'm sure a ghost shouldn't be too hard to find." Killer kept a close eye on Horror skull for a while.

Still searching on the three came across yet another corridor, the only difference was this hallway was longer than the rest and had a series of oil painting portraits. While Killer and Dust moved further down the line, noticing the painting that had been hung up by one of Error's blue strings.

"God he's already cleaning up?? He's such a neat freak..." Dust complained, now standing directly in front of the painting. Killer stood behind him, resting his arm on his shoulder.

"You know what would be funny?" Killer asked. Dust didn't even need to respond as Killer leaned forward and tilted the painting slightly askew.

"Pfft- Nice.." Dust replied. "How long do you think till he notices?"

"Give him about five minutes and he'll be at our necks." The two chuckled,

"I bet on ten." Dust added.

"You wanna bet on that huh?" Killer turned with a smirk before sticking out his hand.

"You're on.." Dust accepted, shaking his hand.

While those two had been making bets, Horror had stayed back. He had been staring into your portrait blankly, trying to regain why you looked so familiar to him. After a few more seconds, he began to recognise the blurry figure in his mind as the girl from the painting. The realisation finally hit him.

"THAT'S IT! THAT'S HER! THE GIRL IN THE PAINTING!" Horror yelled, grabbing the attention of the other two who had now been standing on either side of Horror. He had his finger pointing at your calm smile like you were some criminal he had been tracking down for months.

"You sure that's her?" Killer asked, just to be sure. Horror nodded his head aggressively, being one hundred per cent sure about himself.

"I'm not complainin'... Ghost or not, she's pretty cute.." Dust complimented, staring into your innocent eyes on the painting. "You're lucky to have such an adorable ghost pal, right paps?" Dust asked, looking over his shoulder to see nothing but thin air.

"Wait, Papyrus..??" Dust asked again looking in every direction for the ghost, but all he found was silence.

"Somethin' wrong..?" Killer asked. Dust lifted his head to see both Killer and Horror staring at him with both worry and confusion. "Papyrus isn't here.."

Dust tried to sense for his brother's magic. "He's..." he focused as hard as he could, finding his brother- "In the kitchen? Wait why's he..." Dust paused, suddenly sensing more than one magic source. The other magic was definitely not a monster, it had been the one they felt earlier that day... "he's not alone..." Dust added.

Horror turned to Killer with a smile, which led to Killer asking;

"Do you think it's her..?" Dust tapped his chin in thought, it had to be.. who else could it be?

"Well, only one way to find out." He stated. And with that Dust teleported away, leaving behind small purple particles in the place he once stood. Killer and Horror took no time to waste and followed along.

Killer had eventually come around to finding this ghost. Sure it might've been a waste of time searching around, but hey, it gave him something to do. Horror on the other hand was ecstatic to know that he had proof and that the others were believing him. Nothing felt better to Horror than proving the others wrong. Horror had a grin on his face for a good while after that.

"Heh, Dust was right..." Killer mumbled, staring at the ghost girl that had been talking to what Dust saw was Papyrus.

"She is a cute one.."
