"Yeah sorry about that. Didn't want to make you uncomfortable but he gets under my skin, you know"
Brie nods her head "Yeah I bet" she says as she watches Bella get off the bike "I don't know if you wanna go in there. I kinda accidentally dogged you in with your dad about skipping school" Brie says with an apologetic look on her face.
Bella groans "Great, can't wait to find out my punishment. Thanks Brie" she says before going into the house to find out her punishment from her dad.
"You wanna hang? Can take you to see Emily and the guys?"
Brie looks around "Wait you talking to me? I thought you only like to hang around Bella" 
Jacob rolls his eyes while she teases him, he playfully pushes her "C'mon I wanna hang out with my second favourite girl" he teases her back. 
Brie playfully gasps "Second favourite huh. Well too bad for you cause you don't even make my list of favourites. You just made the bottom. Embry is top favourite now" 
Jacob just laughs at her "Well you can tell him that when we get to Emily's then. Shall we?" He says as he gets on his bike. He waits for her to jump on behind him. "Better hold on tight, don't want you falling off and breaking something on your first day back in town. 
They pull up at Emily's as they climb off the bike, Brie hears the front door bursts open and Jared, Embry, & Quil pile out, shoving the last of a meal down their throats.
Embry smiles at Brie "Look who's back" he says as he pulls in her in for hug.
"Aww look, Brie's favourite giving her a hug" Jacob says teasing her. 
"What up, Bella?" Quil smiles. 
Brie could notice something different about him" Quil, you too?"
Quil nods his head "Yep. Finally made the pack. I'm glad you're here, Brie. Maybe we can get a break from Jake's obsessive inner monologue about your cousin" 
"I wish Bella would call" Jared starts off the teasing. 
"I wish Bella wouldn't call'" Quil joins in on the fun poking at Jacob. 
"Maybe I should call Bella" Brie hears Embry playing a long. She starts laughing at them playfully teasing Jacob about her cousin. 
"Maybe I should call Bella and hang up" Jared says again. 
Jacob looks like he's had enough of the teasing from his boys "Alright, you can shut up now" Brie smiles as the guys laugh, push each other, roughhouse.
Behind them a slender girl with cropped black hair exits, Leah Clearwater. She'd be gorgeous if not for her scowl, Brie thought. Leah sees Brie and the scowl deepens.
Jacob notices Leah looking at Brie "Brie, this is Leah Clearwater. Harry's daughter"
Brie heard about Harry when she was talking to Charlie in the kitchen "Hey. I'm really sorry about your father"
"If you're here to torture Jacob some more about your cousin feel free to leave" Brie gets taken aback she was ready to say something to her but Jacob shoots Leah an angry look. As Sam and Emily come over to greet them, Leah abruptly moves off.
"Fun, isn't she?" Jacob says before Emily gives Brie a hug while Sam offers a pleasant nod hello. 
"Brie, Hi. I was wondering when we'd see your face around here again" Emily says smiling at her as cuddles into Sam
Brie nods her head "Yeah, same here. Didn't know when I was going to come back"
Jacob looks at Sam, as he knew Sam and Paul were on patrol looking out for the red head leech "Sam, we're good?"
"We're good. She won't be getting through our line anytime soon" 
"Where's Paul?" Jake says as he looks around but he wasn't in sight.
"He's still out there, just making sure we haven't miss any tracks but seems to be all good" Sam and Jacob nod to each other.
"So just met Leah, just heard of Paul. Who else have I not met?" Brie asks Jacob.
"Seth, he's Leah's little brother" Brie nearly makes a face "Don't worry Seth's a good kid. Nothing like Leah"
Brie nods "Oh good. He'll be a pleasure to met then. Can't say the same for Leah" 
Sam turns to Emily to say goodbye, looks into her eyes. Their connection is deeply intimate. As Sam gently kisses her, Brie politely looks away to see at the edge of the woods. Leah glances at Sam and Emily's kiss, then abruptly falls forward before her hands hit the ground, they become paws. Leah, now a light grey wolf disappears in the woods.
Everyone wanders off, leaving Jacob and Brie alone again "So, when did Leah joined the pack?"
"Around when her Dad died. Her brother Seth, also phased. He's only fifteen. One of the youngest we've had. Sam keeps him home studying, but he's chomping at the bit. Wish it was Leah who'd stay home" Jacob clearly making a dig at Leah.
Brie scoffs "Come on, don't be such a guy"
"No, it's not a chick thing. It's you know, a triangle thing. We all have to live the Leah, Sam, Emily pain-fest. Wolf telepathy, remember?" 
"So, Sam dumps Leah for Emily?" Brie asks trying to get what Jacob is getting at. 
"It wasn't like that. Sam hates himself for hurting Leah. But, Emily was The One" 
"Yeah, I guess it's sort of chooses you sometimes" Jacob knows she's talking about Edward and Bella but won't go there.
"It's more than some crush, Brie. Sam imprinted on Emily" Jacob says as making it look like Brie already knows what that means, when she doesn't 
Brie raises an eyebrow "Do I want to know what that is? Imprinting on someone is like" she says waiting on Jacob to finish off her sentence. 
"Like when you see her, everything changes. All of a sudden, it's not gravity holding you to the planet. It's her. Nothing else matters. You would do anything.Be anything for her" 
Brie started to wonder if Jacob had already imprinted on Bella "It sounds like you know the feeling. Have you imprinted on someone?"
Jacob looks at her "No, I haven't. I would have imprinted on Bella already if I had. Its at first sight it happens. If one of us was to ever imprint on you then you'd know. But I just have a direct line to Sam's thoughts" He continues into the garage. 
She follows him "Well I guess I am safe from you" Jacob looks at her in shock "And of course Embry, Quil and Jared" 
"Just gotta watch out for Seth or Paul" Jacob teases.
"No one is gonna imprint on me Jacob. I am sure I will be fine. No one is gonna want to be at my beck and call 24/7. Wait didn't you say Seth is only 15?"
"Yeah but age doesn't matter. Quil has imprinted on a 2 year old" Brie's eyes widened "Its not what you think. You can be whoever you want them to be. In his case he will be either he protector or a brother" 
Brie nods her head "That seems to sound a little better than how you put it before explaining it they can be who they want to be cause that would be weird having a lover who is only two"
Jacob laughs a little "C'mon better get you home or you'll end up grounded like Bella"
