THIRD PERSON POV
before Jaden and Camila knew it, it was saturday and they were on a flight to New York.Jaden was more excited than Cam, she was worried that maybe everyone in new york had moved on and of course she had moved on so what would it be like to finally go home?
she had hoped for months to just be back home, but now she was finally going and it just didn't feel right.
sure she had jaden with her but what about her mom.
she looked out the window of the plane seeing the skyscraper's she had always loved
but this time there were things she loved more like the beach, or the warm air, and her friends.
cam loved the city more than anything, when it came to being stuck in the house with her friends or walking the streets of manhattan alone she would always chose manhattan.
but now she would chose spending time with jaden before anything in the world.
that's what makes this so special.
she's in her favorite place with her favorite person.
it couldn't be anymore perfect.
except it wasn't as perfect as it would seem.
cam hadn't been in contact with anyone from new york in months. would it be weird to shoot aleah a text?
probably.
she tried to push her thoughts into the back of her mind and focus on the flight attendant
"good evening, we will be landing soon" the flight attendant spoke
i looked over at jaden with a smile
"are you excited" he questioned
"of course" i spoke giving his hand a little squeeze
"what do you want to do first" he asked
"can i show you my favorite spots" i smiled
"i would love to see your favorite spots" he smiled kissing my forehead
about 20 minutes later we were getting off of the plane and going to baggage claim
when we got there we waited about five minutes for our bags.
as soon as we got them jaden smiled grabbing my hand "im really happy i get to be here with you" he smiled
"me too" i blushed at his words.
we walked out of the air port
"you've lived in new york for your whole life right" he asked
"yeah" i shrugged
"call a taxi like a new yorker would" he laughed
i laughed at him stepping forward closer to the street "TAXI" i yelled, waving my hand, my new york accent thick and very apparent
jaden was behind me laughing as a taxi pulled up to us
i opened the door getting in as jaden followed
"where we headed" the man spoke
jaden gave the man an address to an air bnb and we started our drive
for the whole drive i watched out the window seeing the groups of friends walking down the street.
the moments that had been core memory's lodged in my brain were now replaced by memories of jaden, jayla, javon, the guys, and i.
