When Maya reached her place, she found Carina in the living room watching Netflix. Maya entered the room and flopped down onto the couch beside Carina. "Hi."
"Maya? Shouldn't you be at work?" Carina asks, looking at the blonde.
"Andy is covering for me for a while." Maya said.
Nodding her head, Carina shifts only to wince in pain.
"Are you okay?" Maya asked worriedly.
"I'm fine Bella,  just a little more sore today." Carina admits softly. 
"I'll get your pain meds." Maya said, standing up.
Carina reached out and grabbed her hand. "Just lay with me."
Maya smiled softly. "Okay." She said, sitting back down.
Moving closer, Carina curled into her. "How was your day?"
"It was okay." Maya shrugged. "Yours?"
"It was good, but I missed you." Carina responds softly. 
"I missed you too." Maya said.
Humming softly, Carina shifts even closer. "You're warm." 
Maya wrapped her arms around Carina.
The brunette instantly relaxes. "Ti amo."
Maya kissed Carina's cheek.
Closing her eyes, Carina intertwines the fingers of her right hand with the fingers of Maya's left.
"So, what are we watching?" Maya asked.
"I was watching Hell's Kitchen. I find Gordon Ramsey to be very good at his job." Carina responds tiredly. 
"He kind of scares me." Maya admitted.
Carina shifts and looks up at her. "Really? But Bella, he's harmless."
"He reminds me of my dad." Maya said. "He's got a bad temper."
"Oh, I'm sorry Bella." Carina said instantly, feeling bad for not realizing it. "We can change the channel."
"No, it's okay." Maya said. "You're enjoying it."
Carina looks up at her. "You are sure?"
"I'm sure." Maya said.
Nodding her head, Carina curls back into her and goes back to watching the tv.
Maya wrapped her arms around Carina and kissed her head.
Connecting their hands, Carina relaxes.
Maya pulled a blanket around them. 
The brunette was beginning to fall asleep.
Maya kissed Carina's head.
A moment later, Maya's phone beeped.
Carina remains asleep, curled into Maya.
Maya pulled her phone from her pocket.
Andy- How is she?
Maya - Good, she just fell asleep. How's the station?
Andy- Everything is under control here. 
Maya - Great. Thanks for covering for me. 
Andy- Anytime Maya. You deserve a break. 
Maya- Thanks. But I know you're only saying that because you like running the station.
