I scratched my head Now, where should I go? Observing the forest, I thought We should regroup with Sir Izanami and the others but...
I look at Flame Can you find the others for me and bring them here?
Flame replied I can, Master, but all these dark magic lingering around the forest is hindering my senses. It will take a long while for me to find them.
Just bring them here as soon as you can.
Yes, Master, just please be safe.
I nodded with an assuring smile I will, go now.
Flame flew above the treetops and went away I just hope he doesn't get lost.
Ughh... I winced for I kind of hurt my shoulder when we crash landed earlier and I'm quite exhausted from all that running earlier. We could've been the one heading towards them but I'm not in full condition for a fight if we ever come across danger.
Unusual stillness suddenly dawned on my surroundings that I immediately held the hilt of my greatsword when I heard a slight rustle of leaves This is dangerous, we're out here in the open. 
Just then, I heard the princess groan. I went beside her You're finally awake.
She took one look at me and exclaimed You!..You abducted me! I reacted Huh?! I just saved you from the castle that was blown to the ground!
What do you mean by that?
I explained to her in the shortest way but she's still indignant You probably-- she cut what she said for we sensed several presences as well.
Just then, more than a dozen hands burst out of the ground and human-like figures stood W-What are those?
She replied Ghouls.
Ghouls?
With the power of witchcraft, the empty body of a dead person is filled with a malicious spirit and turning them into the living dead.
I held my weapon in front of me with two hands I see. She chanted in her native language, light coming out of her hands, then put them on the ground Holy!
A large, white, spell insignia appeared on the ground and the monsters within the area are obliterated to ash!
The insignia vanished after a short while but more hands are still bursting from the under the ground, more of them appearing before us!
She continued her attacks but she muttered Why is my mana drained halfway?! I won't last if this goes on!
I frowned They outnumber us, as much as I want to defeat them, I'm still beat up from what happened earlier. 
I slightly winced as my left shoulder has a sudden tender pain.
I look at where Flame vanished It will take long for them to arrive.
I grabbed her We're running! She exclaimed I don't need your help! I said to her firmly If you want to live, you better do what I say! She said grudgingly Fine.
I grabbed her arm with my left hand and dashing away from those things Sorry, Flame, but we have to leave.
I don't know where I'm going and all I know is that branches keep on scratching my face as I went on.
She asked Where are we going?
Just somewhere safe.
