Cheryl made her way to the beach wall. Walking along the street, she clasped her hands togther, rolled her fingers together as her breathing slowly increased. She was nervous to see Luke, she didnt know what to say. Would she say about the music video? Would she ask what was it about? Walking closer to the pier her heart began to beat faster, and she looked around as she passed people.
Cheryl got to the beach wall, and started walking slowly. Soon, up ahead she spotted a familair guy standing, leaning on the wall. Tall, blonde hair...obvious it was Luke. She thought she'd be there first. She walked towards him and he turned as he rubbed his eye, catching her he stood up straight. Soon getting to him, she looked up at him. "Hi." He smiled down at her. "Hello..." Cheryl nodded, as she spoke carefully. "Is everything...okay"? He asked. "Uh, yeah...why wouldnt it be?" She asked him.
"Nothing, im just asking. You seem a little...on edge" Luke told her. Cheryl shook her head as she shrugged. "Oh! We uh, saw the video" She tried to act normal about it. She watched as Luke raised his eyebrows and eye widened. "Did you?" He asked. "Yeah! It was really good! Awesome, production, the song is amazing...and it all ties up into one brillaint thing" She smiled sweetly at him, as her heart was beating faster.
"Yeah, we're all proud of it." He chuckled a little nervously. "It uh...looked fun to shoot." She told him. "It was...it felt like...." He looked at her. Cheryl looked up at him. "Felt like home?" She questioned. Sighing Luke sat himself on the wall and smiled, and put his hand down on the spot next to him. Cheryl smiled before sitting down next to him. "Yes. Could you tell?" He asked squinting a little at her because of the sun.
Nodding Cheryl raised her eyes brows. "Kinda yeah..." She sighed. "Its not creepy is it?" Luke asked chuckling a little. "No, it isnt" Cheryl giggled quietly. "Its just...seems like a long time ago" She sighed looking a head at the buildings. "It does....but at the same time...feels like yesterday" He looked at her and watched as she nodded. "Yeah. What a time, huh?" She smiled at him. They sat in silence for a moment. "Y'know...the past few days...when we've all been together, Michael has been acting a little weird. Like he doesnt care....but he does. He always has done" Luke turned to her.
"Kassie is the same." Cheryl turned to him. "We're all just...girls dont let their guard down Luke. We dont jump at things...like thinking everything is okay again after a breakup." Cheryl shrugged. "No. I know..." Luke nodded as he pouted a little. "But that video, just...im not gonna lie, it brought back a lot of memories." Cheryl giggled a little and watched as Luke smiled. "It wasnt easy" He shook his head. "What wasnt?" She turned to him. "Everything...the words...the video...." He looked at her.
"The words?" Cheryl questioned. "Oh...." Luke stopped talking. A smile grew on Cheryl's face as she looked at him. "Dont worry, im not stupid. I know...we know" She nodded. "Still not creepy?" Luke chuckled. "No!" Cheryl laughed a little. "Its sweet...its really heart warming Luke" She admitted to him as she looked at him. "Those memories have never faded...." He looked at her. "Luke...im just..." "Chez?" Luke interuppted her. She looked at him. "Im willing...to be friends, if we can...if you are" He smiled. "Id rather be friends...than an awkward nothing" He sighed.
Cheryl smiled a little. "Yeah, me too..." She admitted nodding to him. He held out his hand in front of her palm facing her and she took her hand, feeling him squeeze her hand a little. "Yeah. Im glad" She told him before taking her hand back. "Its the same with the girls too" He told her. "Yeah. Same for all of us" She nodded at him.

Cheryl was walking back from the beach wall. Her and Luke had been talking for a while, and nearly after an hour...she decided to head back. Not keep the girls waiting. Passing a few stores she happened to look in at the window, and saw a few magazines. Thinking to herself, she entered the small shop and browsed around before heading to the magazines. Lets face it, she was curious to see if the band was in any of the magazines. Her eyes scanned the rows of magazines, from children magazines, to computer, to music, to gossip.
Once caught her eye and she pulled it out of the row and looked at the front cover. She opened it up, and flicked through some pages. Caught off guard, she stared at a picture of herself, and her friends. Perfect (!) Reading the print she began to shake her head. All the negative words put into the passge, making it look like their where all seeing each other. Making fans, and people think they had something going on. Cheryl closed the magazine over and walked over to the cashier. Paying for it, she took it and walked out the shop.
She sighed as she looked around and spotted two young girls, around the age of 15 looking at her. Suddenly, she went into paranoid mode and began walking. She felt like everyone was looking at her, judging her.
Once she got back to the house, she got inside. "Hey, how are you?" Kassie smiled, and so did Jodi and Jenn. They all sat in the living room and Cheryl smiled and shrugged as she opened the page and threw it down on the table next to the laptop. "What the fuck?" Kassie reached out for it. "More gossip?" Jodi asked. "Yeah, nothing to worry about. Seriously! Im off for a shower...be back down in a bit" Cheryl smiled before heading upstairs.
