Oh how he missed his chaeyoung.

Namjoon scrunch his nose and lift his glasses up but also noticed a familiar hand that is now covered with cute tattoos.

He furrowed his eyebrows a bit before slowly looking up seeing the girl he's been secretly watching for the past month.

Namjoon immediately gulped the lump in his throat. And its almost dry.

As if on cue. Chaeyoung also looked up and formed a smile as a greeting.

"Hi" Chaeyoung started. While the older male is starstruck.

'HELP'

"H-hi" He cleared his throat. "I-its been too long, h-how are you?"

At least he managed to not be awkward or so he thought.

"I'm actually doing fine. What about you? Seems like you finally build the bookstore you'd always been dreaming about." Chaeyoung shared, looking around and stopping to look at the male's eyes.

Namjoon shyly nodded. "I'm doing good. Never really thought that I would be able to build my dream though."

"Its good to know you're doing good." Chaeyoung smiled.

Then they fell in silence. Its too silent that Chaeyoung look around awkwardly.

'Yes i'm the same person who said that I won't be going back with him.'

Namjoon cleared his throat. "Do you want me to tour you around?"

"I mean... if you still have time" He rub his nape

The girl look back at him, her eyes suddenly twinkling. "Are you sure?"

"Why not?" Namjoon chuckled and stood up, and offering his hand to her.

"If it means to spend more time with you then why not right?" Namjoon continued. She looked up to study his face before smiling again and accepting his hand.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?" He was puzzled

"For my childish act, you know.. for misunderstanding you and..." Chaeyoung shrugged, can't mention the name.

Namjoon shook his head as he lead her at a corner.

"No i'm sorry. Because I didn't even try to check up on you. I'm the one at fault here."

Chaeyoung shook her head with a brow furrowed.

"Were both at fault." Namjoon opened his mouth but the short girl immediately pressed her index finger on his mouth to shut him up.

"I forgive you."

His eyes widened. "That easy?!"

"Shh!"

"At least let me pay up all of the sad times I caused you."

"What am I a bank that you have to pay your debts for? Just being with you is fine Joon." Chaeyoung waved off as she pulled him by the hands.

Namjoon sighed and squeezed on their held hands.

"I just really want to replace those sad memories with happy ones."

The girl look at him.

"Will you let me?" he asked softly

Chaeyoung smirked. "Do you think i'll forgive you if not?"

He grinned, his deep dimples making it appearance.

"So... what are we now?"

"Still humans."

Namjoon rolled his eyes as she burst in giggles.

"Well we should take things slow for now." The brute nodded.

"This feels like a fever dream." Namjoon whispered as he pulled her in his embrace.

He was hugging her as if she's gonna disappear any seconds.

"I love you still."

Chaeyoung hummed, "Did you know that i've been waiting for the right time to approach you?"

"Eh?"

"Yeah! The staffs always tells me its either your in your office or at the other branch." Chaeyoung pouted

"In my case I think i've become a creep trying to sneak a peek to you whenever I can." Namjoon pouted which she giggled at.

"Were fools."

"We are."

"Also.. I was kinda upset when you didn't showed for days, it felt like months." Namjoon whispered the last sentence.

"Oh, hehe I did a little bit of thinking and I came up with my mind and yea" Chaeyoung shrugged.

"What kind of thinking?"

"You know like.. if its possible for us to get back or something.."

"Well were back together again, and you'll be sticking around with me until were grandparents."

"Yah!"

"What what? You don't want to?"

Chaeyoung blushed, completely flustered with the thought of Namjoon wanting to get older with her.

Namjoon cupped her cheeks in a delicate manner. "One day, I'll marry you as soon as possible."

Chaeyoung jumped to hugged the taller guy with tears in her eyes.

"I love you."
