Chapter Twenty Seven - For the First Time

                                    

                                          
"Namjoon, come back to bed." Jin said as he rolled over in their bed as he heard the sound of his husband walking around the room.
"No, get up, Jin. Today is the day. We need to get up, get ready and make sure that everything is ready, absolutely nothing can go wrong today, we need to make sure that everything is perfect." Namjoon said, a sound of panic in his voice as he started checking to make sure the moses basket he had just set in their room was perfectly stable and very close to his side of the bed but not too close that he could accidentally knock it over when standing up or stretching out in bed. 
"Joonie, we can't go and get Jungkook until nine in the morning at the earliest and we have checked everything loads of times, everything will be fine. It is five o'clock in the morning, my love, so come back to bed." Jin said as he sat up and held his hand out to Namjoon.
Namjoon took his hand and sat on the bed, "Jin, this needs to be perfect." Namjoon said, "What if something goes wrong? He's still going to be ill, he needs constant care and attention so we have to have everything else done before he gets here."
"We will have everything ready before we bring him home but he also needs his dada to be well rested so you need sleep if you want to take really good care of him because we aren't going to have a very peaceful time when he is here. Remember how often Taehyung or Jimin would end up waking Hoseok and Yoongi up with their crying? We will have five kids with us constantly after tonight so we really won't be getting much sleep at all, we will have days when we get none. So, for me and for our beautiful boys, please lay back down and get some more sleep." Jin said, his voice sweet but with a firm undertone to it, he knew Namjoon was worried but everything was going to be fine and what was crucial right now was that they both got their rest.
"But..." Namjoon went to argue but Jin did have a really good point and he couldn't argue, "Okay, just only for a bit, I want to pick him up at exactly nine." Namjoon said, wanting his baby home as soon as possible.
"I have an alarm set for seven thirty, we'll get dressed then and have some breakfast, do final checks and then go and get our baby, I promise." Jin said as he pulled Namjoon into his arms and kissed him lightly on the lips, "Trust me when I say everything will be fine."
Namjoon nodded his head a little bit as he cuddled into Jin more, "He's coming home today so everything is going to get better now, right?" He asked, wanting so badly both to have his baby but also to feel like everything was okay, to not be constantly on edge.
"Yeah, it still might take a while but it will be better very soon and having Jungkook here will mark the start of it." Jin promised and kissed Namjoon lightly again.
Namjoon smiled and kissed back before pulling away so that they could both try and get some more sleep because Jin was right, they would not be having a full night sleep for quite a while after this.
Jin lay still and watched Namjoon, "You can't sleep anymore, can you?" He asked with a small laugh as he saw Namjoon trying his best to stay still and force himself to sleep when he clearly couldn't.
"No." Namjoon said with a shake of his head and a small laugh. "Can you?" He asked Jin, sitting up in their bed.
"No, let's just get dressed and sorted then see what time it is once that is done, they might let us take him home a little bit early and if not we can just sit with him for a bit." Jin said as he also sat up and got himself out of bed.
With that they both got dressed and checked that absolutely everything was ready both for Jungkook coming home and for their boys all coming back the day after Jungkook came home.
"Is Yoongi staying with your mam one more night or is he coming home?" Namjoon asked Jin as he made Tae's bed, part of his mind thinking about if they should give Tae and Jimin their own room now. They had the spare room to do so and they had talked about it recently but they were not sure because they did seem to like sharing a room but one of them waking up always woke up the other and neither slept very well through the night yet.
