Another day out at the Farmers Market

                                    

                                          
When you came out of the shower you saw Bucky was already dressed, but working on the mission again on his laptop with Steve sitting beside him looking relaxed and reading one of Bucky's books while waiting.  They both had their baseball caps on.  You gave a shy smile, and slipped into the closet, thankful neither one of them turned around to see you in just your towel.  You closed the door and saw that a pair of jeans, a pink t-shirt and a white sweater was already set out for you along with matching pink undergarments.  Alpine was laying on them like he was the king of the closet and you giggled taking your panties and putting them on first.  You got a pair of socks out of the drawer, then finished getting dressed before putting on a pair of sneakers.  You sat down on the dresser and picked up Alpine to give him some cuddles for a moment before coming out and putting him on the bed beside Daisy in her little nest.  Without looking up Bucky passed you an old white baseball cap and you put it on easily, putting your ponytail through the back.  
 "Almost ready?" Steve finally looked at you.  
 "Yeah, I just wanted to make sure Bucky wants to come" you looked over his shoulder, he was looking up more cars and their specifics again.  
 "I'm sure about coming doll, if I need more information, there's always google at home or where I'll be working.  I've helped Tony with lots of his cars here, so I'm not too worried" Bucky closed his laptop and looked at you, looking you up and down slowly and licking his lips.  You gave a small flush and a smile as he stood up and pulled you close giving you a soft kiss on the lips.  
 "Can I borrow your book while your on your mission?  Its pretty good" Steve put it down. 
 "Feel free to any of the books" Bucky turned his head to smile at him.  
 "Agreed, read anything you like from in here" you nodded with a grin.  
 "Come on Daisy" Bucky went and grabbed her leash.  
 "Should we take her?  What if they find us and take pictures of us again?" you bit your bottom lip.  
 "You'll be in deep cover, no one is going to match up Daisy to a dog in the newspaper if it happens" Steve reassured you and you nodded.  You grabbed your purse and keys before handing them to Bucky who waited for you to walk out first.  Steve was quick to grab the doors for you while you walked out to the car.  He opened the back door for you to get in after Daisy jumped in first, and Bucky got in the drivers side and started the car.  
 "Art store first" you reminded Bucky as he started driving out of the parking lot.  
You and Bucky waited in the car, just in case, and since Daisy was with you while Steve went inside the art store.  He was quite a while and came out with a few bags and put them in the trunk.  When you got to the farmers market, Bucky opened your door and waited for you to get out before he took your hand, and Steve took Daisy's leash.  You started walking excitedly through the farmers market and saw some pretty jewelry that you liked.  There were a few pieces, even some rings that you liked that fit.  You went to pay for it, but Bucky stopped you and paid for it instead.  You gave a smile, and leaned up and kissed him on the cheek and he broke out into a grin.  You continued on and saw there was some fresh fruits for sale and bought some plums that were ripe enough and put them in a reusable bag as the three of you walked through the crowds.  Steve and Bucky both seemed to be taking in your surroundings more than you, on high alert, while you were just enjoying being in the moment with them.  Daisy yipped a few times at different dogs that were walking past, but didn't spend too long sniffing at them.  You followed Steve's lead going through, and you saw the home made candy again, and couldn't help yourself but to buy some more.  The last batch you brought back to the compound seemed to disappear quickly.  You made sure to buy extra since you wanted to bring some with you on the mission.  You were woman enough to admit you had a sweet tooth.  You got a second bag of sweets and made a mental note to try to remember to keep them separate in your purse when you went to leave in the morning.  You were starting to get hungry and saw the crepe truck coming.  You put a little more skip into your step and Bucky chuckled letting go of your hand and putting his arm around your shoulders instead and leading you towards the truck with Steve right behind you both.  
 "Three strawberry crepes with extra whipped cream and chocolate drizzle" you spoke up as soon as you got to the head of the line and took out your wallet and paying for it before the boys could react.  You smirked happily to yourself.  
 "Why don't you go grab us a table doll?" Bucky offered and you took Daisy from Steve before heading over to one of the picnic tables and looked around.  You took out your phone and started scrolling through a few photo's you had taken during the day of cool stuff you liked.  
 "Hey" a strange guy came over and sat beside you and you moved over on the seat to get a little further away from him.  "You here alone?" he asked casually.  
 "Nope" you shook your head and gave a smile looking at him.  He was tall and built, but not like your Bucky with green eyes and black hair.  
 "My names Devin" he reached out his hand.  
 "Nice to meet you Devin" you turned back to your phone and Daisy gave a small growl as he moved a little closer on the seat.  
 "This is the part you normally would give me your name" he pushed a bit.  
 "Not interested" you sighed heavily.  
 "Come on, its just a name" he chuckled.  
 "My answer isn't changing" you continued to scroll through your phone.  He started to move closer and you stood up quickly and pulled Daisy with you.  
 "Everything okay doll?" Bucky was suddenly there, and taking in the scene.  Devin took one look at Bucky and Steve sizing them up.  
 "So its doll?" Devin looked at you, clearly not getting the hint.  
 "This isn't going to work Devin, find another girl to hit on" you finally looked at him again, and gave a smile.  It was the smile you always used before you would put someone on their back.  
 "You didn't have to be a bitch about it" he got up finally and Bucky took a step towards him at the same time as Steve.  
 "You should apologize" Bucky spoke in a dangerous tone.  
 "I agree, you should never call a lady that" Steve added.  
 "Sorry" he grumbled and rushed away.  You sat back down and smiled at the boys as they sat down with you and handed you your crepe. 
 "You okay?" Bucky asked worriedly.  
 "I could have taken him" you shrugged.  "Two punches and one flip on his back" 
 "Its not even a surprise that you had it planned out" Steve chuckled.  "He shouldn't have spoken to you like that" 
 "I'm used to it" you shrugged digging into your crepe.  Bucky chuckled from beside you and wiped your chin that was dripping with whipped cream.  "This is Heaven" you sighed happily.  
 "Are we getting doughnuts to bring back to the team again?" Steve asked you.  
 "Those doughnuts are to die for, of course we are, after we have some ourselves of course" you grinned.  He chuckled and dug into his crepe quickly.  You were surprised at how fast he was eating, and giggled a bit with you saw some whipped cream on his cheek as he finished.  You reached over and wiped his face with a smile.  
 "Enjoy your food" you reminded him. 
 "I wanted to go get the doughnuts while you two rest for a minute" Steve grinned and got up while Bucky moved closer to you and continued to eat his crepe beside you.  You saw him go to the doughnut truck and giggled slightly to yourself again.  
 "Should we get some fresh fruits and vegetables for when we get to our mission?" you looked to Bucky expectantly.  
 "Maybe a few wouldn't hurt" he shrugged.  "We bought some plums" 
 "Those wont last the night if you are working on the laptop again" you reminded him and he gave a grin.  You both ate in silence, and you pulled out some of your wares from the day so far and separated some of the candy into your purse, leaving the rest in the reusable bag.  "Are you more comfortable about going now though?" you finally asked while you saw Steve started to head back in your direction with a large bag, and a small bag of doughnuts and you smiled at him.  
 "I'm getting there.  I'm worried there's going to be a car I wont know what to do with" he admitted. 
 "With your super soldier memory and with the internet I'm not worried about it.  I'm going to go over the code words and phrases again tonight while you work on it" you gave a soft smile and Steve sat down.  
 "I'll probably run the bigger bag to the car" Steve grinned, grabbing a doughnut from the smaller bag.  
 "Want some company?" I was going to put the candy in the car so I can fill up my bag a bit more" you asked. 
 "I'll just bring it for you" he grinned taking a second doughnut and took the candy from you.  "I wont be long" he promised.  
 "Thank you Stevie" you called to him as he started walking away, and he waved at you with the hand full of candy.  
 "I have a feeling we are going to have a trunk full again" Bucky said as he finished his crepe and reached for a doughnut.  
 "Probably, I was thinking of getting the girls all something before we left, but then I thought it might be better if I waited until we are on the mission so they know I thought of them while we were out" you looked to him reaching for a doughnut as well.  
 "You can't forget the rest of the team" Bucky grinned.  "They all love you.  And your dad, I thought he was going to shoot me this morning" he chuckled.  
 "You can touch my ass as much as you want" you winked at him.  
 "I intend on it" he put his arm around you.  
 "Good, I like it when you feel comfortable around me" you leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.  He smiled and turned more in his seat and pulled you closer to him so he could kiss you properly on the lips and you both hummed in satisfaction.  Daisy let out a small bark and you reached in and grabbed her a doughnut and gave it to her and she ate it quickly.  
 "That had sugar on it" Bucky raised his eyebrow at you.  
 "She likes those ones too, just can't have them as often" you admitted.  "I don't want her to get sick" you added softly.  Bucky grabbed another one and handed a second one to Daisy. 
 "I can't let you be the only favorite" he winked at you and you giggled as he leaned in for another kiss.  You smiled as he kissed you, and felt him smiling as well.  You both continued to kiss like no one was watching until you heard a camera and you both turned at the same time to see Steve standing there with his phone and a proud smile on his face.  He instantly sent the photos to both of you in a text message and you looked at it on your phone and you couldn't help but smile.  
 "Might want to fix your hats" he sat back down, and you both fixed your hats at the same time.  
 "Where to next?" Bucky looked at you.  
 "I want to walk around a bit more, see about the fresh fruits and vegetables" you decided.  "Maybe look at the crafts they have.  We need another frame for the picture that Stevie just took of us.  I liked it" 
 "He does have a good eye" Bucky grinned as you both got up.  Steve reached for Daisy's leash as you both led the way back through the farmers market.  
You stopped at a few stalls and got some more plums as well as other fruits and vegetables you would want while you were away on the mission.  You found some cute little plushies again, and some new dog and cat toys to bring as well.  You filled up a few reusable bags and Bucky took them in his extra hand so you had one hand free while he held the other.  You three stopped for the waffle truck again, and you got another strawberry topped one, looking forward it excitedly, you had danced a bit while you waited.  
 "We need to start heading back soon" Steve warned you as you finished your waffle.  "Tony doesn't want us to miss supper" he reminded you.  
 "Daisy is starting to get tired" you admitted, leaning down to pet her for a minute.  Bucky grabbed all the garbage on the table and threw it in the garbage can as you three got up.  You saw a bubble tea stand and ran over dancing slightly wanting something to drink.  
 "What's this?" Bucky asked as you got a strawberry flavored one.  
 "Heaven" you let him take a sip and he had a look of surprise as one of the tapioca bubbles went in his mouth and you giggled.  You gave Steve a sip too and giggled again at the look on his face.  They both ordered one each as well and the three of you started heading back a little more slowly to enjoy your drinks as you went.  
 "I keep forgetting how much food you can eat" Steve rubbed his stomach a little as he threw away his empty cup.  
 "If its sweet, I am a bottomless pit" you grinned.  
 "I'll have to keep that in mind" Bucky chuckled throwing out his empty cup as well.  You sipped at yours until the three of you got back to the car and you threw out the empty cup.  Bucky put the bags in the trunk and announced it was full before closing it and coming over to open your door for you and Daisy.  Steve slipped into the front and Bucky ran around to drive the three of you back.  
 "I am going to miss you two while you're both gone" Steve sighed a bit.  "I'm going to miss Daisy too" 
 "You should get a dog like you were thinking about" you reminded him.  
 "I'm still thinking about it" he admitted.  "I was going to go to the animal shelter though, they need a second chance at life too" 
 "That's the perfect idea" you smiled happily as Bucky drove you all home.  "I look forward to meeting your new dog when I get home" 
 "It might not happen" Steve looked at you over his shoulder.  
 "Its totally going to happen, I have Faith in it" you smirked as you pet Daisy.  She was already sound asleep and clearly tuckered out from the day's excitement.
