Walking down the North Courtyard, I heard my name being called. When I turned around, I saw Professor McGonagall making her way to me, holding her hand up.

I smiled. "Ma'am?"

She stepped beside me, before gesturing to me to walk after her as she made her way towards the bridge.

"I am worried about you, Miss Rogers."

I knew where this was going.

"I had just finished marking your tests, and well... you did the worst in the year, Rachel."

Sighing I nodded. She then proceeded to hand me my test paper, and my heart dropped. Thirty-four out of ninety. Great.

"You might need to get extra help from another student, dear. Do you understand?"

I nodded, while following her over the bridge. The, she dug her hand into her pocket, before lifting papers out. Not papers... Letters!

"Your mother sent these," she said in a mere whisper.

In silent and invisible excitement, my hand jumped up, taking the couple of letters from her hands. There were more than a few. There were nearly ten.

"Thank you, Professor McGonagall," I said, looking at her. "Thank you so much!"

She smiled at me. "Alright dear. Now go, and please search a tutor."

She continued walking, but I stopped in my tracks. I looked down at the letters. So many? I hadn't gotten so many since third year. Oh my Merlin.

"Afternoon, love."

I dropped the letters straight into my robe pocket as I felt Mattheo slip his arm over my shoulder. I then smiled, looking up at him.

"What's this?" He asked, taking the test paper from my hand. "Woah." His eyebrows lit in surprise.

"I know," I sighed. "I just need to find a tutor. That's all."

Mattheo looked at me, seeing me take the test paper from his hands.

"I can tutor you," he offered, stunning me.

"I'm sorry?"

"I can tutor you. I got seventy-five on my last test. I can tutor you."

Immediately I lift my hands and shook my head. "No, no, it's fine! I'll manage-"

"Oh come on," he groaned, making me sigh. "I'm good and you need help. It gives us more time to spend together."

Okay... So it's not that I don't want a tutor, it's that I don't want Mattheo as my tutor. It's worse enough that we're dating, and even worse that he knows how bad my marks are. Tutoring me would turn out even worse.

He smiled softly. "Fine. See it this way: we spend time together, and seem like a couple. But I'm just tutoring you, okay?"

Sighing I gave in. "Fine."
