Sign language
Clint is deaf but no one knows. You found out one day and learnt sign language in case something were to happen. Well it happened.
It was a normal avengers evening, the only problem for Clint was that he forgot to put in his hearing aids. So he could not hear anything, instead of being the chatty Clint he usually is, he was completely silent. You were late and everyone was starting to get annoyed for Clint not answering their questions and ignoring them. When you came down everyone was in a bad mood.
Yn: hey
Tony: hey.
In a slightly angry tone
Yn: what is the matter with you?
Steve: Clint is ignoring us and not answering us.
Yn: dumbass
You say while walking over to him. You take one look and see he has no hearing aids in. you wave in front of him and he looks up.
Yn: did you forget your aids?
Clint: no just lost them
Yn: you lost them, clint they are so expensive
Clint: i know so now i am going to be completely deaf until further notice
You give him a hug then sign.
Yn: you dumbass. Since everyone is now seeing, do you want me to see if Stark can make you some?
Clint: Yes please.
Yn: done. Also they are hurt that you have not been talking.
Clint: could not hear them.
You laugh and turn to the others.
Nat: What was all of that?
Yn: Clint is deaf and has lost his aids, so can not hear anything that is why he was ignoring you. Also stark can you make some new aids for Clint please they are too expensive for him to buy and fall out during missions.
Tony: consider it done.
