Yeah my brain is just not on it, pretend the ranking of the Jonin by the male teacher did not say Ibiki because currently he is about six years old 🤣🤣

(I have since changed it while editing but I will leave this here because it's a funny mistake)

That wouldn't be too good.

Btw I thought I should put some general warnings in the description of the books so check there. If you want me to put a warning for anything particular then ask right away and I'll keep it in mind for future chapters.

Okay on with the show

Shota was suffocating.

That was the risk carried when owning a cat.

He woke one morning to Miruku's stomach in his face.

She had climbed up onto his bed during the night and gradually made her way up the bed until she had spread over his head early in the morning. White fur clouded his vision and he breathed in the long strands of cat hair. He blew on her stomach but she remained unbothered, snoring softly.

Shota was running out of air when he finally decided to move her. He picked her up and slowly slipped out of bed. Walking down the hall with bare feet, he entered her room and placed her down on her cat tree.

Despite it being her room, many other cats rested there. Laying on every surface and bed.

Kakashi father had shown him dog summons when he entered the academy, and the boy was now training with his pack when ever he could. Shota on the other hand had been introduced to Shibito's summons: Cats.

His glorious pact with the cats had been passed down to Shota, opening a whole new world of training.

The cat summons are called the Ninneko, and are responsible for observing the village. You can see a stray cat on a wall or lying on a bench and just have a thought of how cute it was before going about you day. This made them the easiest was of keeping tabs of villagers and visitors alike.

Only one person had a pack with the cats. The ANBU captain was in charge of general security and espionage (as the Ninneko's ability to get rid of their scent while in training came in hand for spying).

The ANBU captain was also known as Shibito Morikawa.

He had introduced Shota to the Ninneko thinking that they could help keep an eye on the boy, as well as making a pack with him too.

After the first week in the Academy, training with the Ninneko took most of Shota's time. Of course he did this while teaching the others, but between that and Mono taking over to train as well, Shota's time was spent with the Ninneko and his quirk.
