Tyler's POV:
Time for the final game of the season, against the Calgary Flames, in Calgary. We usually don't see a lot of Kings fans especially up in Canada but we would try our best without the crowd chanting 'Go Kings Go'.
We stepped out for pre-game practice, 30 minutes from puck drop. My eyes instantly darted to a girl standing on the stairs at the glass watching us. She had her phone in hand and she was wearing a Kings jersey. I couldn't tell the number but I didn't really care if it was mine or not. Her hair was glowing under the lights and her eyes were bright and shining and it took me everything to look away.
I skated right in front of her and even stood in front of her, my back against hers.
I finally got a good glimpse of her jersey. 73. My jersey. I smiled and continued to skate around shooting pucks at the net and even trick shooting, my eyes going to hers every time I finished one. I was proud to see her eyes on mine every time I looked at her. She was amazing. Breath taking. I was trying everything to get her to look at me and every time I caught eyes with her she blushed and looked at her phone or someone else.. Why? I'm looking at you, look at me with those eyes of yours.
The horn went off signaling us back into the locker room 2 minutes before the puck dropped.I hope she was sitting where she was so I could see her.
My mind wouldn't let me forget her. "You have to focus, Ty. You have a game to play"
"Ty! Take it." Carter yelled at me as he passed the puck my way as we skated down center ice. I looked to where the girl was standing to only see her sitting in the front row. She was looking at me and I couldn't help but to get a childish grin on my face. I slid the puck towards the net and shot it in, it slid by the goalies shoulder and right square in the net!
I put my glove to my mouth and kissed it blowing it towards her direction.
She was up on her feet and clapping and cheering along as we scored. After that, all I could remember was me trying to impress her. It took all my might not too.
*after the game*
I fixed my tie and got ready to head to the bus to take us to the airport. The girl of my dreams is probably almost home now, not even remembering me or how much I looked at her.
"Good job on your goal!" Carts said to me as we exited the locker room.
"Excuse me. Tyler?" Somebody said, a girls voice. I turned around to see the girl that had my jersey on, the girl that I was trying to impress. The girl that her hair was shiny and her eyes were dazzling.
"H-hi." I stuttered. She wasn't only she had a taller man behind her, older so I'm guessing it was her dad.
"May I have your autograph on my jersey?" She smiled and held up a pen.
I looked at her and smiled, her dad asked a worker where the bathroom was and left us alone.
"Of course. What's your name beautiful?" I said. Oh god Tyler. Really?
She turned around and I blushed at the dumb word I used.
"Y/N" she said. Her voice was even angelic.
"Well, Y/N. It was nice meeting you. Are you from Calgary?" I said as she turned back around.
"No. I'm from L.A but here for schooling." She smiled and I smiled.
"Well, If you don't mind me asking, I would love to take you to dinner if you ever come back to L.A." I smiled and her eyes went wide.
"Me?" She asked. Her finger on her chest looking around to see if anyone else was here.
"Yes, you." I smiled. She nodded and handed me her phone as I put my number in and she put hers in mine.
Her dad showed up behind her and that was my cue to leave.
"Nice meeting you Y/N" I said and winked at her tuning around and heading towards the bus, praying she would be around soon
