Mumbai looked as crowded as it had always been. The trio looked around the busy streets while sitting in the cab. "How much I missed this," Viaan murmured.

Freya smiled while holding his hand. He smiled back at her. "Have you been here?" He asked.

She shook her head negatively. "No, I just spent some time in Delhi and then Bangalore," she said. He nodded.

"I will show you around a little," he said. She gave him a nod through the same smile.

"I am here too," Shiv asked while sitting on the passenger's seat. He watched them by tilting his head in boredom.

Viaan rolled his eyes before speaking ahead, "I have called Aarya. She will be joining us tomorrow thankfully and Veer is here anyway so he will be there tonight after his working hours," He said.

Shiv adjusted his head and moved back to face him. "You know... You truly are my best friend, Viaan," he said. Freya chuckled as Viaan rolled his eyes again.

"Why would she be joining later?" Freya asked.

"She stays in Pune. It's Friday tomorrow. The weekend is starting so she will get here after work," He said. She nodded.

"Right, why were you in Pune that night?" He asked unexpectedly while forgetting Shiv was sitting ahead.

He widened his eyes while watching her but she looked fine with the question. "I was there to meet my would-be in-laws... They had a big function at their house for their wedding anniversary and I was asked to attend it," she said.

"I spent a few hours there and got out while stating I had a flight to attend... No one was bothered much about getting into detail nor do they offer me any ride. I was glad. I spent the rest of the evening in the club. I was really sad... I wasn't just saying it," she said.

He sighed. "I am sorry," he murmured.

She raised her eyebrows. "What for?"

"For leaving you that way," he said. She chuckled at his stupidity.

"Stupid, you stayed with me and booked a cab for me. I reached the airport in time because of you," She said. Shiv kept listening to them but didn't interfere.

"I was a mere stranger to you. Still, you were nice to me... That's why I thought of spending that evening with you in Chennai," She said and smiled sweetly.

"You always remembered everything," he muttered.

"I knew who were you when I got into your cab as well," she said and winked at him when he gave her a look of disbelief.

"We met just once before that meeting when I was in Bangalore for study. Remember when you were rude to me..." She was saying but he cut her.

"Yes and I said I am sorry for being rude," he muttered. She chuckled.
