Chapter 17
^Xiao's POV^
When I dressed up all black at the funeral, I watched as how Aether's coffin was dug down on the deep dirt. 
I felt like my eyes are going to flood with water. I glared at his sister and adopted one a crying mess. I looked all over the place. 
"Aether (surname) died in a very young age of murder without any traces of the murderer. Rest In Peace and fly high." The Priestess dropped a few flowers on his grave and bowed down respectfully.
Lumine dropped loads of dandelion flowers and prayed for her brother's death. "I hope I get to see you soon.." Paimon held her black skirt tight and cried on it.
I was at the very back so I was the last one to pray for him. 
"Rest in Peace."
"Why would you die in such a young age my friend..?" 
"Fly high Bestfriend."
"At least you're in a better place now."
When it was my turn I looked around. None was seen. I dropped a red rose and other flowers on his grave and prayed for him. 
"Aether, why would you leave me like this?" I was about to cry again. I sniffed.
"W-Why..?" I wiped my tears off and left as fast as possible.
^3rd Person's POV^
The sky slowly faded into a dark gloomy night at the graveyard, something unexpected has happened. 
Aether's corpse started to disappear in thin golden dust. 
The dust flew out of the coffin and float high in the sky to find someone's special window.
The dust flew inside of someone's sketch pen again.
The person sighed. "Glad the plan worked." He looked out of the gloomy sky where stars were starting to be seen in the night.
"Good night to you too Aether."
3 months later
^Xiao's POV^
 
"Will you be my boyfriend?" Ganyu asked.
"Yea Whatever." Was my answer. 
I couldn't believe I accepted her confession just to move on from Aether.
I didn't love nor like Ganyu. I always had Aether trapped in my heart forever and ever. But everytime she gets in the way and tried to steal the spot by hanging out with me and doing literal silly stuff.
"Oh really? I love you so much!" Ganyu ran into me and hugged me as tight as possible. 
I knew I would never love her, but what was I suppose to do? Say 'sorry Ganyu but I love Aether'? 
He's dead , for 3 months now. 
I can't handle this anymore. I can't keep visiting his grave everyday and pray for him.
I want to see him again, in person..
"Does that mean you will love me forever?" Ganyu excitingly jumped around me. I closed my eyes and just stand there quiet. Of course not.
The bell then eventually rang. "Oh! See you tomorrow Iao!" She waved at me happily and attended to her next class. 
"I told you not to call me that!" I stepped hard on the floor angry. She giggled and left. I sighed and stepped into my classroom.
"Xiao, what happened between you 2?" Albedo asked. "None of your concern smartie Pants!" Since his death i pretty focused less on school and my grades started lowering down.
