The kids slowly woke up after hours.
"What happened?" Danny asked.
"I don't know what's going on", Jake groaned while rubbing the back of his head.
"And I was hoping this was a dream, guess I was wrong", Juniper sighed.
"Uh...June", Ray-Ray called as he looked out the window.
"What?" The Asian girl asked.
"You might wanna see this", the little boy pointed to the window.
Juniper walked to the window and her eyes widened with her jaw dropping.
"What the juice are you guys looking at?" Randy frowned.
"Uh...nothing", Juniper lied.
"Okay, now I wanna see-sweet cheese!" Randy exclaimed as he looked at what was outside. The other kids joined him and gasped in shock.
They were looking at a city they didn't recognize. It looked unusual and the sky was purple.
Randy and Ray-Ray ran out of the bus only to run into a crowd of monsters holding a welcome sign.
"SURPRISE!!!" They cheered in excitement.
The other kids walked out of the bus and made shocked faces.
"Seriously, for once can I go somewhere that's normal?!" Juniper groaned.
Danny, Jake, and Hayley turned to June in shock.
"Wait, you know these things?!" Danny questioned.
Juniper realized her mistake of blurting something out. "Uh, no I'm just as shocked as you are", she lied.
"Oh welcome young guardians!" One of the monsters approached the children, shaking Danny's hand.
"Guardians?" Hayley asked.
"Yes, young dragon!"
"Dragon?!", Juniper exclaimed.
"Well so much for keeping it a secret", Jake mumbled.
"What are you talking about?" Danny asked in a confused tone.
"Hayley and I are dragons".
"What the juice?! That is so Bruce!", Randy exclaimed.
"You look human to me", Ray-Ray arched an eyebrow.
"Alright move it!" A female voice spoke as monsters were being shoved across.
The kids just looked to see who was trying to get to the front of the crowd.
Turned out it was a woman who looked like a normal human. She had jet black hair, fair skin and light angelic blue eyes. It was hard to tell if she was white or Asian. She approached the kids and smiled sweetly. "Hello young warriors, I am Jade and I will be your guide and supervisor", she introduced in fluent English.
"You look so pretty!" Hayley said in awe.
"Thank you young dragon". She gave her a kind smile. Then she looked at the other kids. "I'm sure you all have a lot of questions".
"Yeah we do!" Danny looked around.
"Don't worry ghost boy, everything will be explained but right now you all need to rest". She signalled the kids to follow her.
As they walked with her across the street they noticed that everyone was a monster or mythological creature like gnomes, fairies and demons.
Every creature was staring at the kids as if they were celebrities.
Danny was wondering if these were ghosts, Randy was thinking these were people who were stank'd and Jake and Hayley felt uncomfortable about these kids being aware that they were dragons. The only ones who weren't bothered were Juniper and Ray-Ray.
"Um Lisa?" Danny asked feeling uneasy about this whole situation.
"Yes, Ghost boy?"
"Wait, you're a ghost?" Juniper gasped.
"Half Ghost", Danny corrected.
"How does that work?" Ray-Ray asked with interest. Danny just ignored him.
"Lisa, where are we going?" Danny resumed talking to the adult.
"We're going to the Summer home", she answered.
"Is there a pool? Please tell me there's a pool", Randy whined.
"There's a beach just a few miles away".
"Can we go there now?" Randy pleaded.
"Dude we just got here, let's just Netflix and chill", Jake suggested.
"The American dragon is right, when we get to the house you will all settle in and rest for a while until tomorrow".
"What are we doing tomorrow?" Juniper asked.
Lisa just gave her a winky smile. "Alright, we're here". The woman gestured to a house in the hill that they had to hike up.
As soon as Lisa unlocked the door and opened it, the kids ran inside to take in the scenery.
Ray-Ray whistled in amazement, "Woah this is-".
"So honking Bruce!" Randy finished.
"Alright young warriors, go choose a room and get some rest".
The kids all rushed to choose whichever room they found.
Randy and Jake were fighting over the furthest room. He pushed Jake aside, then almost got burned alive by his fire breath. Jake stuck out his tongue and shut the door in front of Randy's face.
Juniper unpacked her suitcase. When the kids were hiking up the hill with Lisa, the monsters carried their luggage to the house. Juniper wasn't sure which route the monsters took though.
As the girl unpacked she also took out some magical items.
"What are those?" Danny asked from behind.
"What-how did you get in? I didn't hear you opening the door!"
"Well I'm a ghost, the answers pretty obvious".
Juniper didn't understand until she remembered the ghost movies that she used to watch.
"Oh...you can walk through walls", she said out loud."Bravo", the boy applauded sarcastically. "What's all this?"
"Magic items, don't touch", she warned.
"Alright, well I'm going to bed, later dragonfly", he gave a fake salute then phazed through the wall to the passageway.
"This is going to be a very interesting summer", Juniper said to herself before going to bed at night.
