"Now, we will have a new potion to discuss for this day." Professor Slughorn said as he walked in front of the bubbling cauldron. "Would anyone like to guess what kind of concoction is this?"

Hermione immediately raised her hand, and yes, it's always been Hermione Granger who answers every professor's questions in all of the subjects. That's how brilliant she is. Professor Slughorn acknowledged her and gave her a go.

"That Sir is a potion called Desiderium Cordis, which is also called Heart's Desire. It makes the drinker tell and do what their heart truly desires at the very moment until its effects wear off. It is like Veritaserum, but it is a love potion, and this only answers a particular question which is 'what does your heart desire?' and the drinker couldn't do anything but to answer the question even they try to resist it." She profoundly explained and made the old professor smile at her. 

"Truly magnificent, Ms. Granger as always." He clapped and went back to discuss it with the class. 

"That's the potion I've asked you for the last term, right?" Draven whispered and she nodded. 

"And it's also complex to brew. Usually takes months to fully brew." Hermione replied and went back to listening to Professor Slughorn. 

The discussion took a while before the old professor asked one student to be a volunteer to try the potion. "Don't worry, children. This potion is safe to drink, and it will only last for 30 minutes."

No one dared to raise their hands even Draven and Hermione. But the Malfoy boy saw that the old professor made eye contact with him. 

"Mr. Draven Malfoy. Please join me here in front." Professor Slughorn said, walking towards Draven and holding his arm gently. "Come here, boy." 

The Slytherin boy couldn't do anything but just follow him and walked beside him in front of the cauldron. 

"I will just ask you to drink this potion, and let the class know how powerful this concoction is." He said to him and gave the small flask with the tonic in it. "Go on, Mr. Malfoy." 

The white blonde-haired boy took the flask and quickly drank the potion. It tasted like cherry with a bit of bitterness like the taste of beer. 

"Now, Mr. Malfoy let me ask you. What does your heart desire?" The potions professor asked him. 

He quickly thought of kissing Hermione right now and being able to have some private time with her at the library later. And also... something about making love with Hermione as well. Draven was sweating, trying to resist the urge to speak and do all of those things in front of the class. 

"I want to kiss Hermione." He blurted and his eyes quickly grew wide and he closed his mouth suddenly. 

He saw that the Gryffindor girl's cheeks reddened a bit, and the potion seemed to kick in him as the Slytherin boy walked towards her table and quickly cupped her face and kissed her squarely on her lips. Hermione was shocked by the sudden action he did. Her heart rapidly beats fast as she felt his lips move. She then closed her eyes and returned the kiss he gave. It lasted for some seconds before they finally part away.
