"Riddle? Complimenting someone?" Amelia said in a confused voice
"You must be really special Y/N," Daisy states "He never compliments anyone,"
A Month Later:
Y/N's POV:
After Herbology class ended, I made my way to the library. didn't have a class currently. I made my way to the library and saw Tom Riddle already there sitting on a couch behind a bunch of shelves. I made my way to my favorite herbology book, called Winogrand's Wondrous Water Plants. I sat on the couch across from Tom. He looked serious. He was quite an interesting person from what I've noticed last month. I then noticed the little black book next to him.
"What's that one about, Riddle?" I asked him as I flipped a page of my book
"That's none of your bloody business, L/N," he says not looking up from his book, I looked at the cover of the book, Book of Potions
"Do you know what's in a laughing potion?" I asked, there was no answer "Well I guess you are too much of an idiot to know what's in it..."
I then hear him shutting his book close.
"Springwater, alihotsy leaves, billywig wings, knarl quills, puffskein hair, horseradish powder, and laughter," he states bluntly with a slight smirk
"You'll never be able to make that potion," I stated I continued reading my book
"And whys that L/N?" he asks
"Because you would never laugh," I said smirking behind the book, he then walked toward me
"I could kill you here on the spot," he whispers in my ear, I then stood up
"In front of all these people?" I said sarcastically, he then scoffed he a chuckling way
"It's a joke L/N," he said with a smug face "Live a little,"
He then pushes past me. 'I forgot the fact that I'm supposed to make him fall in love with me, but now I just really want to beat the hell out of him' I thought to myself, I then turned around and saw Oscar with a surprised face
"Bloody hell Y/N! Riddle talked to you?" he says 
"So, Oscar?" I said raising my eyebrows
"He never talks with other people except for professors," he states, I then noticed that Tom left the black book that was next to him, I picked it up, his name was engraved on it, Tom Marvolo Riddle
"I'll talk to you later Oscar!" I said running out of the library
Oscar POV:
"So did you ask her out to hang out this weekend at Hogsmeade?" Leo asks
"No, I was too distracted by the fact that she talked to Riddle," I stated
"Riddle? That weird creepy bastard?" Henry asks "No worry, we can do something about that,"
Y/N POV:
I ran into the empty halls. Looking for Tom. I then see him walking around.
"Riddle!" I said yelling, he then turns around
"What do you want now, L/N?" he sounded annoyed, I then handed him the book back, his eyes widened "You didn't open it did you?"
"Why in the world would I open it?" I scoffed, I then walked to my class as my free period was coming to an end 'A thank you would be nice, but who am I kidding, he's Tom Riddle' I thought to myself, I then footsteps behind me, I turned around and saw Tom"And why are you now following me, Riddle?"
"I have the same class as you," he scoffs, we then heard a scream and nobody was around
"It came from the bathroom..." he says, as I followed him, he then opens the bathroom door, we saw blood on the floor, I gagged a little bit from the smell
We then saw a body of a boy sprawled on the floor. With blood oozing out. I gasped a little and started to tear up. His eyes were open and lifeless. I started to shake a bit, but then I felt a hand on my shoulder it was Tom.
"Come on let's go report this to the professors," he says, we both then turned around and saw Professor Dumbledore and Headmaster Dippet
"It seems those boys were right," Headmaster Dippet states "Both of you are under investigation on this murder,"
We both then walk to Headmaster Dippet's office. They both left the office to talk a bit. Tom and I sat next to each other. I was still trembling slightly.
"You think I killed that boy?" he asks 
"I know you didn't..." I stated "You were with me when he screamed, it couldn't have been you,"
We then stayed silent for a bit. I was still trembling a bit. The image of that dead boy was stuck in my head. We then heard the door open, I saw them holding two vials of Veritaserum.
"Both of you drink this," Headmaster Dippet states "After interrogation, you can take the antidote,"
Tom and I both nodded and drank the potion.
"Now, what were you two doing?" he asks
"We both were heading to class and we heard a scream so we went to see what happened, and we found the body in the boy's bathroom," Tom states calmly
"Ms. L/N, did you kill that boy?" he asks
"No. I did not," I said trying not to stutter
"Mr. Riddle, did you kill that boy?" he asks
"No," he states, Professor Dippet sighs
"You two just take the antidote and get out of my sight," he says, we both drank the antidote and exited the office
???'s POV:
I saw Tom and Y/N exiting Headmaster Dippet's office together.
"You told me Y/N wouldn't be involved," I hissed at my friends
"Well I was supposed to know that she would be with Riddle," my friend hissed
Tom's POV:
I looked at Y/N as she is still slightly shaking. I didn't know what to do. I then reach down in my pocket and retrieved some packaged crystallized pineapples that Professor Slughorn gives me. I offered some to Y/N. She then looks up at me.
"Are they poisoned?" she asked sarcastically, I rolled my eyes
"Just take them," I sighed and ate one, she gained a bit of trust after she sees me eat one, she popped one into her mouth 
"We're late for class," she said popping another one in her mouth "Do you think Professor Slughorn will deduct points from us,"
"Probably not, he's a Slytherin like us," I said, I then held the package of crystallized pineapples "Or I can bribe him with his favorite candy?"
She then chuckles a bit. She was back to her normal self. We then entered the classroom where the other students were brewing potions. They all looked at us, some had surprised faces and some had disgusted ones.
