And that girl over beside Sarah Cameron? That's Winona but she just goes by Winnie. She said life's too short to have a name that long as if it weren't only one extra syllable. Winnie was a Kook; not only that but she was the Sheriff's daughter. Although, with the crazy stuff I've seen her do, you wouldn't guess it. If it weren't for her mum, I'm pretty sure Winnie would've been in juvie years ago.
What can I say? Winnie liked to rebel against the rules - specifically the ones in place by her mum.
She and Sarah Cameron were practically inseparable which came as a shock to anyone who knows either of them. Maybe it's that thing they say about opposites attracting, I don't know. What was even stranger, was that at parties she somehow always made her way over to the Pogues. By the end of the night, if JJ hasn't found some girl to hook up with, you'd usually find the two together smoking and having a laugh.
Winnie didn't really seem to fit in on either side of the island. Sure, she loved the perks of being a Kook - those perks usually involving money - but she wasn't really one of them.
And yet, she wasn't really a Pogue either. Winnie wasn't a surfer - I don't think I've ever even seen her swim - but she liked to smoke and have a good time so most of us didn't mind having her around.
JJ liked to get high with her, I'm pretty sure Pope is crushing on her and I appreciated whenever Winnie warned me that her mum might be stopping by the Chateau. Her being friends with Sarah Cameron never sat right with Kie, though.
Winnie never got caught up in the mess of Pogues vs Kooks, claiming it was all arbitrary - whatever that means. Winnie, instead, chose to go wherever the wind took her. We didn't care though, with the number of times she'd saved our asses, she's a Pogue through and through, no matter what those Kooks say.
However, something tells me she won't be able to stay on the fence much longer.
Here's hoping you pick the right side, Winnie.

Raquel Morales; she's Kook royalty. Her family has been here just as long as the Camerons and they own just as much property. She also hates Pogues like it is her job, although I'm pretty sure she's never worked a day in her life. She's been friends with Sarah, Winnie and Quinn for years and they might just be the only people she's actually nice to.

That's Quinn Kennedy. Her family were originally Pogues before her parents caught a lucky break with their business and got rich. They moved her and her brother, Kelce, out to Figure Eight and brought a nice big house as soon as they could, suddenly acting like they were better than the rest of us. Quinn's always overcompensating for her family, being nice to literally anybody she meets - including Pogues.
