tara was in bed. she finally had fallen asleep from the night she just had. she thought to herself about amber and what they did last night. she wasn't necessarily ashamed or embarrassed. it's just really weird when your siblings catch something like that. 
*three rhymed knocks coming from sam* 
"hey tara" sam says quietly and softly while opening the door and leans in a little until finally walking in sitting down the edge of tara's bad. 
"what do you want" tara said muffled on her side in her pillow hurried into her phone. 
"i just want to talk about last night with you. tara i'm your big-" tara cut sam off by saying "talk about what? oh my god-  it was NOTHING. sam" 
"okay well.. tara it's okay i don't think any differently but we need to talk" 
tara scuffs and covers her ears with the pillow and goes "OH MY GOD. IT WAS NOTHING" 
"tara i just want you to understand that i will not think any less of you and i will still love you. but find someone else from amber" sam smirks off and walks out while patting tara's back "IM NOT FUCKING GAY SAM OH MY GOSH!" tara yells moving her head up from her pillow and then slamming it back down. 
*text from amber🫶🏼.: "hey tara good morning, i'm like sorry if i did anything weird or whatever and i hope everything is like okay. i'm sorry tara"
tara looks at the notification and picks up her phone. she reads it as her phone accepts her face id. her face is straight. no expression at all. she doesn't know how to feel. tara knows she's not mad at amber and she really does like amber but she is just confused but knows she needs amber. 
she clicks the notification and reacts to it *a heart reaction (loved a message yeah yeah)* "hey, good morning. everything's good. you didn't do anything. i'm glad i have you. we should hang out later if that's okay?" tara replied. she re wrote her message a couple times but she thought this one was okay. 
reply from amber🫶🏼: 
*btw i'm so sorry if u can't see the emoji it's like the new ios update. just know it's a heart*

"oh yeah, fs. do you want to come over here and we can go somewhere??"
tara replies: "i mean yeah that's cool, i can come over in like an hour just give me a moment.."

"tara! where are you going?" sam screams across the house hoping tara could hear her. sam knew she was probably going to see amber but didn't want to force tara into anything. sam really did feel bad. "GOING TO SEE WES AND LIV WITH MINDY!" tara shouts back all the way from her room. tara knew she had to make a bold face lie because of how awkward it was. "mkay..." sam said a little quiet but not too quiet to where tara couldn't here it. tara felt her heart drop in a way. she just knew sam knew where she was going. 
couple minutes go by and tara walks down the steps. "just text me when you get home T" sam says in a condescending tone closing the door after tara walks out.

"so.. tara, about last night." amber had to say quietly as her and tara were in ambers room after 15-20 minutes passed by. "what about last night?" tara replied acting a little stupid. she just didn't want to talk about it. 
"i don't wanna make things uncomfortable between us and your sister tara. i'm sorry for what happened it's all a blur genuinely." amber felt super bad. she could tell it was weighing tara down. 
tara got up from the ground rearranging ambers vinyl collection and sat on the bed with her. tara's body filled up easily with nerves. amber was also nervous. she didn't know what the expect. "amber... don't be sorry. i liked it. i really did. it's just with my sister seeing all that it's hard to not be slightly embarrassed from it. plus that was something so brand new. gosh-" amber had to cut off tara "i really like you tara. all last night i couldn't stop thinking about YOU. i know this is weird and brand new but we have something tara you know it." amber said looking deeply into tara's eyes holding her knees. 
tara was dumbfounded. she loved hearing amber say that. the feeling she got from it was so eazing and nerve wracking- she loved it. "i do know it amber. i want to be with you" tara said looking down with her whole head and then up again. "i want to be with you too tara." amber smiled and leaned in for a hug. nothing more. amber just wanted to feel tara in a non sexual manner. tara appreciated this as she felt the same way
