Minjeong went to the fighting club that Mark joined in. the place looks cleaner than her old club that she used to join in. it has more management system to make it all structured.

"Minjeong?" a girl called out.

"holy shit! Yujin!" Minjeong hugged her. "you moved here."

"moved? I own the place, Jeong. Welcome." Yujin said to her and noticed Ryujin. "you're replacing me." Yujin pouted.

"I'm not. this is Ryujin."

"nice to meet you." Ryujin greeted. "nice place you got here."

"thank you." Yujin then led them to her office. "have a seat."

"I'm proud of you." Minjeong smiled at Yujin.

"this is my other job actually. I have someone to run it." Yujin sat on her desk. "many happened while you're away. I saved up some money to study and worked my way up to be a CEO like you." Yujin sipped her whiskey. "you inspired me, Jeong."

"so where are you working, actually?" Minjeong asked as she smokes.

"Shin corp."

Ryujin choked on her drink. Minjeong patted her back.

"what?!" Ryujin exclaimed. "my company?! become CEO?!"

"sorry kid." Yujin giggled at her. "how old are you? you seem younger than us."

"I'm 26. Going 27." Ryujin calmed herself down. "damn. My mom must be disappointed in me."

"don't say that. you're good enough to be the CEO. If you really put your brain into it." Minjeong encouraged her.

"if Hansol is here, he must be proud of you." Yujin suddenly brought him up. "think of it as my attempt to achieve his dreams. To be like you."

"god for you." Minjeong then remembered why she came here. "I wanna look for a guy. Mark."

"you still doing that?" Yujin walked to join them on the couch. "he joined about 3 years ago. He's brutal. His last opponent went in a coma for months."

"really? He's that brutal?" Ryujin leaned in. "he's nice to me, though."

"he's nice... when he ask me some money." Yujin gave Minjeong his profile.

"he's marrying Jimin." Minjeong said as she read the file.

"he what? I thought she's with you. what are you doing all these years, man? Not cool." Yujin scratched her head.

"who's Jimin?" Ryujin asked the unfamiliar name.

Minjeong stayed silent. Never once in her life she ran out of ideas. Today is the first. As much as she wanted to protect Jimin, she has nothing to do with her life. She's not anyone to her. just a friend. That's not enough reason for her to interfere with Jimin's life.

"so what, now?" Yujin wondered what's on her mind. "you're gonna kill him?"

"you kill someone?" Ryujin shocked.

"no! fuck sake. I don't know." Minjeong threw the file on the table and sighed. She rubbed her temples. "if anything happened to Jimin I will never forgive myself."

"you never act like this before. Or I just need to catch up on you." Yujin looked at Minjeong who's looking frustrated.

"don't look at me. I just know her." Ryujin looked at Yujin who's been staring at her.

"I'll let her be." Minjeong said. For once, she needs to let go of Jimin.

"you sure?" Ryujin and Yujin asked at the same time. "I'll keep an eye on him for you." Yujin offered.

"thank you." Minjeong stood up and get ready to leave. She then excused herself and walked out with Ryujin.

"should I ask my members to keep an eye on him too?" Ryujin asked.

"if you think that's necessary."

-

Everyone is keeping their eyes on Mark. Only one thing left. His business.

"miss. Mark just got a high payment on his account. At first I thought this is just a normal income for him but this is higher than usual." Jin reported and gave Minjeong another file.

"did Lia helped you? she's the one that can access these stuff." Minjeong read it.

"yes." Jin smiled a little.

"tell her to keep tracking these payments. I'm sure this is illegal work." Minjeong commanded.

-

Meanwhile, it's been 3 months since Jimin live with Mark. His house is not as big as Minjeong's but it's okay for Jimin. She's now laying in her bed reading some book that Mark gave her.

"Jimin! Make me dinner!" Mark called out to her. "hurry up!"

Jimin quickly went to the kitchen and cook for him.

"did you talk to anyone at work? Did you see Minjeong?" Mark asked from the dining table.

"no." Jimin served him his food.

"did you just gave me an attitude?" Mark stood up and walked to Jimin. He then slapped her. "what did I say about manner? I don't want to marry a girl without manner."

Jimin looked down and sobbed.

"fucking hell! When will you stop crying!" Mark banged the table. He then started eating.

Jimin then tried her best to contain her tears. She then sat down and eat with him. she's scared of him. so scared that she didn't even dare to disobey him.

"eat up!" Mark exclaimed seeing her slowly eat her food. "you're too skinny."

Jimin then fasten her pace. After that, Jimin do the dishes while Mark go to sleep. once she finished, she went to her room which she shares with Mark, making as little noise as possible.

When the morning comes, Jimin have to wake up before Mark did. she then has to make breakfast and cleaned their bedroom. This is all Mark's orders.

Jimin didn't have her phone. Mark said that he didn't want her to get distracted while working. To Jimin, it was the worst excuse she ever heard.

"come on! Don't be lazy!" Mark called her to get in the car. Minjeong walked quickly after locking the house.

"remember to be out at 4.If I arrived and you're not out, you know what will happen, right?"
