Chapter 26: The arrest

                                    

                                          
Naina came out with her gun in her hands, and pointed it towards the three of them.
Naina: Dekho..tum teeno abhi har jagah se ghire hue ho..apne aap ko surrender kardo nahi toh anjaam accha nahi hoga..
Laborer 1: Accha ladki! Humme dara rahi ho! Humme budhu samjha hai kya!
They started laughing at Naina. From the corner of her eyes she spotted Yudi. She knew he was there with the back up. Naina was now a little relaxed.
Naina: akhri chance de rahi hu! Apne aap ko surrender kardo!
Then suddenly, the third person took out a gun. He was about to fire when Yudi fired a bullet on his hand. The other two charged towards Naina and Naina quickly kept her gun in the holster. They had a hand to hand combat. The fight took place for over an hour. Slowly slowly from three, they became 10. The back up also stepped in and in the end they managed to knock each one of them unconscious. They were arrested.
Yudi: Naina, headquarters ko inform kardo.
Naina: Abhi ki.
Naina quickly gave the good news to the headquarters. They all were happy that now the leaks will finally stop! Atleast they now had one trustworthy company to give projects to.
Officer: Wonderful Captain! Ab aap dono bhi wapis apne apne kaam pe jaa sakte hai..
Naina's breath stopped for a second. She realised that now she'll have to leave. She'll have to leave her Sujal. Her eyes started to well up.
Naina: Sir, is it possible that I stay back for a while?
Officer: Captain, aap dono ko ek maheene ki chutti hai..aap jo karna chahe woh kar sakte hai..par humme waha aake sabko sab kuch batana padega..
Naina: Ji sir..
Officer: Captain, kal aap Lieutenant Ameer se milke unhe sab kuch vistaar se bata dena..phir hum uske agle din aake sab kuch bata denge.
Naina: Ji sir..Jai Hind!
Officer: Ji Hind!
Naina looked at Yudi. He smiled, he was happy to get holiday after such a long time! Naina was happy too but she was scared..she was scared thinking about Sujal. She just hoped that he doesn't misunderstand her..
They headed back to the road. On the way, Yudi started a conversation, 
Yudi: Naina kitna maza aayega na chutti mai!
Naina: Ha..
Naina was lost in her thoughts. She was predicting Sujal's response to her truth.
Yudi: Naina!
Naina was brought out of her thoughts by this. She looked at Yudi and blushed. She knew she was caught!
Yudi: Sujal ke baare mai sooch rahi ho?
Naina: Ha Yudi..woh gussa karega ki maine uss se yeh baat kyu chupai..
Yudi: Arre yaar! He won't even care!
Naina: Woh care karta hai Yudi..tum bhi baki logo ki tarah nikle..Sujal dikhata nahi hai! Par woh bhi ek insaan hai! He cares, he loves, he gets hurt! He is also just a human like us!
Yudi: Bas bas! Apni rail gadi ko break laga!
Naina: Sorry Yudi..woh..Accha, yeh batana ki yaha se Hotel Starlight kitna door hai?
Yudi: Kuch 2 granted lag jayenge..kyu?
Naina: Sujal ne dinner pe bulaya tha..
Yudi: woh toh phir khana khaa kar soo gaya hoga abhi tak!
Naina was shocked to hear that! What did he mean?! How late was it?!?!
Naina: Yudi! Yudi kitne baje rahe hai!
Yudi: gyarah baje rahe hai man.
Naina was shocked..now Sujal might already be angry at her! She quickly took out her cell phone and saw 30 missed calls from Sujal and then two messages. She opened it quickly.
First one read,
"Naina, I'm leaving for the hotel..meet you there!"
Second one read,
"Nainu kaha ho? Kab aa rahi ho? I'm waiting! Come fast already!"
Naina's eyes filled with tears. She knew now Sujal will never forgive her. He must be thinking that Naina stood him up!

On the other hand, it was 7 o'clock and Sujal was ready for their date. It was their first official date and Sujal was utterly prepared to make this date a remarkable date!
He waited for a while, when Naina was no where to be seen, he called up Piyush.
Sujal: Piyush..kaha ho tum log?
Piyush: Lawyer ke paas..kyu?
Sujal was shocked! Why were Naina and Piyush in the lawyers office!
Sujal: Sab theek hai na?!
Piyush: Ha Sujal..aaj raat ko mai sabko bata dunga..tum batao..
Sujal: Piyush..tum zara Naina ko phone dena please..
Piyush was confused..how can he give the phone to Naina when she isn't with him in the first place?
Piyush: Sujal..Naina the mere sath nahi hai..
Sujal: Nahi hai?
Piyush: Nahi..ek important meeting ke wajah se mai jaldi chala gaya tha waha se aur Naina ne kaha tha ki woh aa jayengi..
Sujal: Oh thanks Piyush..mai tumhe raat mai milta hu phir ghar pe..bye..
Piyush: Bye..
Sujal disconnected the phone. He thought where can Naina be! He then settled on the decision of sending her a message.
He wrote:
"Naina, I'm leaving for the hotel..meet you there!"
He knew it taht if Naina reads it then she'll come to the hotel directly.
In the hotel also he waited for an hour. Naina didn't come. He felt a sharp pain in his heart. But he didn't think that Naina betrayed him, he was worried thinking that whether Naina is safe or not! He tried to call her, but none of his calls were answered. He rang her up almost 20 times but when he saw that there was no response, he became unhappy. He then texted her immediately.
He wrote:
"Nainu kaha ho? Kab aa rahi ho? I'm waiting! Come fast already!"
After waiting for another half an hour, he understood that Naina was not coming and ordered food for himself. He before leaving also gave her a call. But the same happened..she didn't answer. He was hurt..he felt like Naina stood him up..
He went to his home and saw the entire family gathered in the hall. He saw that Piyush was standing with some papers in his hands. His eyes were looking very determined.
Piyush: Accha hua Sujal tum bhi aa gaye..
Sujal smiled. He saw that Kashish was looking blank at Piyush. She was confused as well.
Piyush: Ab sab log yaha aa gaye hai toh mai yeh baat sabko bata dena chahta hu..maine yeh faisla apne poore hosho aawaz mai liya hai, na kisi ke dabav mai, aur na hi kisi ke baato mai aake.
Everyone kept on looking at Piyush. Slowly slowly everyone were become tensed as to what decision he had taken.
Piyush forwarded a bunch of papers to Kashish.
Piyush: Yeh lo Kashish..iss pe sign kardo..
Everyone looked at him in shock. Kashish was so shocked that she was unable to say anything..
Kashish: Piyush..yeh aap..kyu..kyu kar rahe hai? Kyu Piyush!
