tara finally walks downstairs, nervous from what just happened with amber but really happy about it. she tried not to show a big smile like something just happened. she walks to the door and opens it after hearing 1000 rings from the doorbell. 
"TARA! Wow look at you grown up!" sam exclaims with a huge smile on her face with her arms reached out for a hug. "hi im richie, nice to meet you in person" richie adds after tara scoots back from sam. "hi richie, how about you guys come in" tara says besides the door moving her hand to the inside of her home. 
"oh. hey amber, nice to see you here" sam fakes a grin at amber and looks over to tara pissed.  "what's up sam." amber smiles wide and gets up from her spot on the couch while eyeing tara blushing a little bit. amber still couldn't believe what had just happened between them. this whole situation was so off and happened so fast. 
"hi i'm richie" 
"i'm amber. nice to meet you" amber shakes his hand and walks off to tara to have a quick conversation. 
tara quickly notices and walks away from amber going to sam to avoid amber just because of what they had done. she couldn't wrap her head around it and felt a little awkward about it. 
"so tara you couldn't have warn me that your friend amber was gonna be here?" sam whispered angrily "i'm sorry i didn't know if you were coming today or tomorrow and i didn't want to seem stupid saying anything. calm down  and be nice gosh" tara adds rolling her eyes off and walking away. 
"i really do not like this amber girl" sam whispers to richie as he walked by after tara left. "and why is that?" richie asked genuinely confused. "just because- she's a bad influence and puts bad motives in tara's head. too controlling" "oh so i see. you can try and be nice tonight to her though. for everyone's sake." "oh so you're making me seem like i'm the bad guy and i just hate this 17 yr old? i can't do this" 
sam walks off to go and put her stuff up in the guest room where she's staying and sits there. richie follows her "hey, i'm sorry i didn't mean it like that. you okay?" 
sam looks at him and breathes out. "yeah, i just want to be here for tara that's all" "well you're doing your part certainly. just be cool" richie tries to explain to sam while she's rubbing her forehead with her palms. 
meanwhile sam and richie are upstairs settling in. amber and tara are talking in the kitchen about sam being around and amber can't stop looking tara up and down. tara tells amber to stop doing that and flirtatiously punches amber and walks away. amber grabs her slightly pulling her towards her. tara is looking up at her with her puppy dog eyes while amber is over her looking in her eyes leaning in to kiss her. 
their lips meet and after a couple seconds of making out tara quickly pulls away  saying "amber. i just- my sister and.." tara doesn't finish her sentence. amber looks at her in worry, "yeah i know i just thought. you know...this is what we do now?"
