Flashback:
Arjun Singh, a typical spoilt brat of a rich parent. Favored by his mother, he took upon a path that he would usurp everything from his elder brother, Ranvijay.
But, was the bad boy actually a bad boy? He was just in the lust of power. Why was he doing so? Nobody knows.
He was hell bound to snatch away his brother's only company, despite owing his father's. He was all set to ruin Ranvijay, with the help of his mother. Both of them thought Ranvijay was naive and blind enough in love of his brother to handover everything to Arjun.
But, Ranvijay was a self made man. He traced the anomalies in his company before
Arjun's rats were able to invade more.A defeated Arjun was an injured lion.
Arjun thrashed the glass of whiskey he was drinking, the glass shattered to million pieces. His eyes bloodshot, anger coursing through his veins. He couldn't see his reflection in those thousand pieces, he moved his glance from them, staring blankly into the wall, as if disgusted with his own pitch black resemblance.
"Anger. That's what is keeping me alive. Once more, he got away with my trap. Why?" He threw another glass on the ground.
Arjun POV.
I am disgusted to see myself in those shattered pieces. I am disgusted to see the face of a loser. I am disgusted to see the face of the traitor, who is punishing his brother for something, he never was wrong of. No, no, no, what am I thinking? It was all him, it was all bhai!
If he wasn't so perfect, so good, I wouldn't have to face such humiliation through out my life.
Why did you do that bhai? I loved you so much, couldn't you stand up for me? Couldn't you say the world, that I was not your brother only, but I was Arjun too.
(His eyes fell on the beautiful mosaic drawing on his apartment hall, he chuckled to himself..)
What a waste. In all this, the Arjun died the most brutal death. Hahahaha, claps for self, you perfectly ruined yourself, Arjun, you piece of shit, Ha ha ha...ha..ha..
But this Arjun, he won't bow to anyone. Oneday, I will be the most powerful in this whole damn family.
I will show you father, I will show you. What this Arjun can do, even without the rest Pandavas, even without his Dronacharyya.
And you, Ranvijay, I will drag you to hell and leave you there to rot, just like I did, for each fucking breath I took. Time for Showdown, Mr. Ranvijay Singh. The only Singh in this family to rule will be me, nobody else.
Author's POV
He was playing a war with his own conscience unconsciously, but evil has a dark trait. It engulfs the whole of you and leaves your soul, a pitch black mass. Tired with all the petty conspiracies he decided to go and straight away demand what was rightfully his. The company, Singh Corporation was too on the path of the bankruptcy, thanks to his inefficient leadership and his father's not understandable foolish major decisions. On the other hand, his brother Ranvijay has already taken the company of his grandfather, Tears and Smile, with his commendable businessman ability and skills, which was making him jealous somewhere.
He even went as far as separating Ranvijay from his wife, Niharika, thinking that will weaken him and it did too.
On the other hand, Sunaina, Sunaina is a tough nut to break. Born from sawdust, turning into stardust, she is all about skill, hardwork and brain. She has seen a lot, went through hell, but as poets say, she is a Phoenix, rising from her own ashes.
Her hard exterior, her sass was nothing but a defense layer to protect the soft inner child that wears her heart on her sleeves and has been hurt way too many times by the very people she trusted. She is close to very few people, but those people were her lifelines.
