"Hey good morni—"

Bonnie stopped talking as she saw me grabbing a whole bottle of Bourbon and jugging the liquor right from the bottle. "You got a problem sweetie?" I rolled my eyes and swallowed the liquid.
"Why does this not work on vampires?" I hissed angrily and looked for other liquors with higher percentage.

"Do you want to talk about your problem?"

I turned to Bonnie and nodded. "Girls day with Care?" Something flickered up in her eyes. "Of course! Should I call Elena too?" Sighing at her question I shook my head. "It's something about.."

The moment I wanted to say his name, he came downstairs. When he saw me, he quickly changed his way into the living room, avoiding the kitchen.

"Oh god.. What happened?"

I whined out and buried my face in my palms. "Something terrible." Bonnie hugged me and promised me that we'd leave in less than twenty minutes. So we both went to get ready.

I slipped on a tight backless black dress, some matching heels and did my routined make up. It felt amazing to put on lipstick after three months of trying to escape Kai.

One hour later Caroline, Bonnie and I, we sat down in a cute little cafe. It must've been new because I couldn't remember it at all and believe me, I would've remembered these cupcakes.

"So what happened?"

Bonnie asked and Caroline frowned. "I mean what could've happened? We went to bed late yesterday and you cleaned up with Damon - what could've happened in those twenty minutes?"

I shoved half of the chocolate cupcake in my mouth feeling ashamed of what happened after those twenty minutes. "Oh my god– Don't tell me.."

"We did it."

Caroline squeaked in excitement and covered her mouth with both her hands, while Bonnie just stared at me with widened eyes and an open mouth.

"That's not the thing.."

I said while munching on the delicious cupcake. The girls exchanged a suspicious glare before looking back at me again.

"You know we were doing - the things you - and.. I said something."

Caroline knitted her brows and took a sip of her orange juice. "Okay Layla I think you're exaggerating, what could've been so bad that you can't look him in the eyes?"

"I might've called him.. Kai?"

The name came out in an indistinct mumble. I started peeling my nails under the table and avoided the eyes of my friends.

"Excuse me what?!"

Bonnie hissed, while the juice flew out of Carolines nose with an immense speed. "Wait just to get the story straight.." Bonnie tried understanding what happened and Caroline wiped her face clean.

"You and Damon, Damon Salvatore -"

"The one and only."

I confirmed Bonnie with eyes filled of shame.
"You both end up in bed together." - "Yes ma'am"
Caroline finally managed to get herself clean and turned back to us. "And while you're in bed and he's doing his thing... You call him Kai?"

"The only truth."

They both suddenly bursted out laughing like crazy making me feel even worse. "Stop laughing! I should've just listened to Enzo and stayed away from Damon!" Caroline shook her head and grabbed one of the cupcakes.

"But why Kai? I mean don't you hate this guy? Don't tell me you still have feelings for–"

"God Caroline no! Of course not! But.. in those six months being stuck with Kai, I don't know I just had these memories of him and it was so intense — and to be brutally honest, he did an amazing job!"

Bonnie scrunched her face in disgust and shivered a little. "So not only did you call him Kai, you also thought of Kai while doing it with Damon?" The words stumbled in my mouth. Caroline had me weak with this question.

"Guilty."

Caroline chuckled and shook her head. "I hate to break it to you, but I think the only way out of this is to ask Klaus to compel Damon." I smashed my head on the table letting out a desperate growl.
"But what about the party?" Bonnie asked Caroline. What about the party? "Oh shoot! We planned games and put you in a team with Damon!"

"No - no I'm not coming."

"Layla this party is gonna be amazing, just trust me, we'll fix that."

"Party? I like parties – Oh yum cupcakes!"
