Heyo ik it's been a while but I'm back once again with a new chapter of "dealing with the Devil" glad you guys are enjoying this series so I'm gonna continue to write it anyways let's get back into it.

Tanya POV
"What is the deal with this girl?" I thought
Since Hiura had gotten to the capital she had been talking to all of members of Strategic HQ since she's gotten here. 
"So where is your homeland Hiura?" Kurt asked 
"It's a very distant island called Tokyo" she replied 
"I see... so Major Degurechaff tells us you can be useful in this war" Zettour spoke and looked in the direction of Hiura
"Do you have what it takes to be a soldier for the empire?" Zettour questioned 
"I personally have zero interest in this war, but if I have to fight I have no doubt I can hold my own" She responded 
Is she insane? You can't just say that to a strategic HQ Chief of Operations!"  I thought
"She's a feisty one isn't she. Alright since Major Degurechaff has scouted your abilities personally I have no doubt that your worthy to part of the empire. When you leave this room go down the hall and there will be some people there to get you enrolled" Zettour announced 
Hiura then walked out of the room without saluting and closed the door shut.
"How Disrespectful!" Lergen shouted 
"Just calm down now she's a foreigner, she's not used to our customs yet... more importantly" Kurt turned and looked towards me 
"What makes you confident in her power Major Degurechaff? You had very high standards for your Battalion, but now you're willing to take this new unproven little girl?" Kurt questioned 
"Hold on now Kurt. Major Degurechaff is not an incompetent recruiter. We saw how strict her test for admission into her battalion was. Let's hear her out on this one first"Zettour chimed in 
"If I may I my lieutenant took some footage from her Elenium 97 orb" I had brought along lieutenant Serebryakov since she captured footage the power Hiura had shown. As the footage was spread along between all of the members of Strategic HQ shock formed in all of their eyes at what they had witnessed 
"This level of power is absolutely unheard of" Zettour exclaimed 
"She took out a company of mages by herself in seconds..." Lergen stumbled out as he watched 
"This is all I need to see. If she is willing to fight with us the war against the Republic is guaranteed to be over soon" Kurt laughed to himself 
"But, how can we control someone that powerful. She didn't seem too obedient earlier." Lergen reasoned 
"You make a fine point there. Major, can we count you to keep her under control then?" Kurt questioned to me 
"Absolutely sir! I brought her back along since I thought she would make a fine edition to my battalion and since we are around the same age I can watch her." I explained 
"Sounds good to me. I propose we get her promoted to a captain position within Major's Battalion" Zettour mentioned 
"But how, we can't just give it to a random foreigner who hasn't even fought for us yet" one of them proposed 
"We will put her on a crash course and do the rest under the table. We need that power as soon as possible . She will be the final puzzle piece to the end of this bloody war." Kurt finished 
"Major and lieutenant you're dismissed. We will handle the rest from here." Zettour announced 
After I left the room Serebryakov was having second guesses 
"Major, are you sure you want her in the battalion she does have no prior combat training and even though her raw power is impressive you don't believe in people like that right?"she questioned 
"I'll see you tomorrow lieutenant. I don't feel like talking about this right now. Inform the battalion that all of them will need to be up early tomorrow morning to introduce a new member of the battalion"I announced before we split up and went our separate ways 
I thought about what I said and I really don't have a way to control her at all. She's a power reincarnate from another planet the only thing that will keeps her here is whatever she's interested in, but what even is she Interested in that keeps her with me.
As I walked into my room there she was sitting on my dresser 
"Hey Cutie" she giggled as I flinched before standing in shock at her presence 
"Why are you in my room?" I asked half annoyed and curious 
"I don't have my own since you forced me to live with you" she winked at me causing me to blush a little before I regained my composure 
"I didn't force you to live with me!" I yelled 
"Well forcefully taking me onto a train and bringing me to your leaders seems like it to me" she laughed 
This had begun to annoy me. I genuinely don't understand this girl at all 
"What are you after Hiura?" I sighed and blinked for a moment and before I realized she was right beside me 
"You" she whispered into my ear which I blushed and jumped back 5 feet away from her 
"Just kidding Tanya. Since we're both reincarnators we should stick together. It's nothing ulterior I promise" she gave me a reassuring smile so I took her word for it.
She's obviously not lying 
"Fine. Then don't call me Tanya unless we're alone you have to call me major when we're around other people"I ordered
"Sure... major" she rolled her eyes 
"Also you need to be up early tomorrow since I will be introducing you to my squad" I informed her 
"Is that all" she asked obviously bored 
"That's all. Now go to sleep tomorrow you will also be doing some training" I told her 
"Training for what?" She asked 
"You'll find out tomorrow" I told her as I turned out the lights and rolled into bed 
"Tanyaaaaa, no fair" Hiura pouted 
"Just go to sleep!" I turned over in my bed 
"Why is she so cute when she pouts like that... What Am I Even Thinking Now. I just need to sleep this all away" I thought

Hiura POV 
 Tanya offered to share the bed with me, but it's hard to sleep when a girl that you're interested in is sleeping right next to you!
She jumped away from me when I actually said something genuine... I really do think she's cute and she does interest me so I can't think of a reason to leave this little military game at the moment I thought 
"Maybe if I gain her trust by fighting with her a few times she will see me in a better light? But maybe she doesn't like girls and will think I'm weird. Oh well I'll have to deal with that later I have things to do tomorrow I'll go to sleep now" I thought

Hiura smells really good.! I should've never offered to share with her, I'll have to remember this next time I thought 






















Hello Hello, it's absolutely unacceptable that I haven't written anything recently, but this is mainly because again my own laziness. I will admit I went through a long amount of writers block in which I couldn't write a chapter to save my life . I will try to get back on the horse since I'm on spring break from school and I'm vacation from my job rn too
