The assent sent shivers down the spines of the people currently climbing. It's taller than he remembers, the weight of the situation seemingly increasing.

To think a child is being trapped, potentially tortured in there, it made the climb less inviting, yet determination to save the poor, undeserving soul kept their pace speedy.

The rocks they clung to were mossy, covered in light foliage and life. A clear path stood out, from where Dream walked to access his base, and also from Techno and Phil's previous journey. Another set of footprints laid their aswell, clearly someone else had gone inside, and with the lack of returning tracks, they either didn't make it, or they are staying there for a reason.

It looks like they might have to deal with someone else. (Too bad Dream beat them to the punch.)

Phil and Techno led the army up the cliff face, stopping at the familiar ledge that led to Dream's base.

Phil stopped in his tracks, the group following his lead. Techno however, walked over to the wall, brushing his hand over the stone, little rocks scratching at him from their walled prison.

"When we enter, we will most likely find Tommy deep inside the base, so keep your guard up. Knowing Dream, he has traps to keep us out. Be careful." Techno said as he faced the crowd. He quickly returned to the wall, knocking against the stone.

Soon a hollow spot appeared, which was. Swiftly mined away.

With a small hand motion, the group entered, making their way down into the depth of the lair.

The dark seeped into their skins as they rode the creaking lift down. It was ominous and... empty.

Quiet.

Way too quiet...

The main hub was the same for the most part, except a large bedrock wall, curtesy of Drista.

With techno leading, they rounded corners and lead down hallways, still no sign of Tommy or Dream. That did not sit right with Techno. He would at least expect to run into some kind of trap, or security or.. something!

But they continued, undisturbed.

Soon, they made it to the hallway end they found themselves at when they first came to save Tommy. It looked the same, except a poorly added door, dirt falling from the wall that it was cut from. It was made of iron, though it didn't look sturdy from the crude job of attaching it.

The door was plain, with rust coating the corners and hinges. In the centre of the aged door, despite it not being there for long, sat a small piece of tape. It had a quick scribble of writing on it.

'My Sunshine'

The name brought bile to his throat, leading with white, hot rage at the psycho claiming Tommy. It also disgusted him at the name alone. It's what Wilbur used to call Tommy.

Dream didn't deserved to use that name to call Tommy, when he has awful intentions in his eyes, evil that seeps through the mask.

From behind the door, soft words could be heard, an affectionate(not really, but he puts up a good act) voice whispering sweet nothings to someone, presumably Tommy.

With a mighty kick, the door flew off the rusty hinges, marking the adjacent wall, making a loud clank. A masked face whipped up to the door as the group walked in, armed and ready for a fight.

A collective gasp emerged from the sight in front.

It wasn't pretty.
