Kel looked to the side
"We won some games, lost some too. Oh! I still would hang out with Basil, sometimes they'd go to my games. Tried to work on my grades but they're still eh."
"...And...Hero..?"
Sunny asked quietly.
"Oh.. Hero... He's been okay recently."
There was a pause.
"For the first few years though. It was tough."
Kel started on the second to last plate.
"He took Mari's death pretty hard. He didn't leave his room for a year, barely talked with us, left school for a while."
Kel looked at the plate intently.
"One day, i tried to talk with him and."
  
Kel started scrubbing the plate harder.
"Heh. Y'know... He doesn't seem like the type to get angry to most, but man when he does!"
Kel chuckled.
"When i brought it up with him he got so angry, Hero pushed me to the ground. And we both started to cry."
Kel kept scrubbing the plate harder and harder, despite it being clean.
"When my folks came in, they rushed to Hero consoling him, completely ignoring me. When he saw this, Hero came to comfort me."
Kel kept scrubbing as Sunny stared at him
"Things got better after that. Though Hero still is more closed off, I'm just happy to have my brother back, y'know?"
Kel stopped scrubbing, and turned to Sunny. Smiling.
"I'm happy to see you back here too, Sunny. Even if you're .."
Kel put the dish down.
"Sorry about going off on you like that! It looks like we're done with the dishes!"
Kel put his hands on his hips with a smile.
Sunny felt horrible about leaving, causing all this.....
"WHATCHA WANNA DO?!"
"Anything's fine Kel."
"Hmmmmmm..."
Kel thought.
"OH I KNOW! LETS PLAY BASKETBALL!! WHAT'D YOU SAY?!"
Kel got very excited, jumping up and down. Sunny didn't much like basketball, but just seeing Kel that happy, made him excited as well.
"Yeah let's go..!"
After a moment.
The two boys then ran outside, with Kel dribbling a beat up basketball. The two went over to a hoop, and decided to play horse.
Kel, who was obviously the better player between the two, decided to go somewhat easier on Sunny. 
After doing the game for a bit, the game was tied (mainly cause Kel was missing on purpose) it was 2 away from game.
Meaning Kel was gonna start trying a bit so he didn't lose. 
So Kel walked a bits away, and started running to the hoop to do a slam dunk, but after he did so...Kel...kinda forgot to stick the landing.
Falling knee first on the rocky road, Kel scraped it pretty bad. Seeing this, Sunny ran over to him.
"Kel Are you okay...?"
"Agh, i think.. Ow it hurts,.. just give me a minute and I'll be fine..!"
