I'm still using the 9-1-1 transcripts for the story and Hulu but I have changed things to match up with how I'm writing the story.

I have made a few mistakes in Buck's age before in the other chapters. I want to clear up Buck's age and the timeline that this story takes place. I did make Buck younger than he was in 9-1-1. I also changed a lot of the dates from 9-1-1 to match up with the story.

Buck's pov

"Graduated top of his class just this week. Guys over at Station Six were dying to have him, but I convinced him to join us". says Bobby

"What are his qualifications"? I ask

"He served multiple tours in Afghanistan as an Army medic. Guy's got a Silver Star. It's not like he's wet behind the ears. Come on, I'll introduce you to him. He likes to be called Eight Pack". says Bobby

I don't follow them because my mind is on the fact that Bobby said that he has a silver star. I wonder how Diaz got the star because the Navy and Amry are under the same awards. All I got from the Navy was an honorable and medical discharge. I was tortured for six months before I was rescued. When I got home from Iraq, I was put in the VA hospital and missed all of the funerals from my family. It was a week after getting back that I was told about my discharge and that I was to return to civilian life. I talked to the other surviving members of my Navy family and we all found out that we were not to receive a silver star which I thought was so stupid because the six of us risked our lives to bring home the members of our family including the traitor. What makes the full thing worst is that the Military uses my unit as a teaching tool. Now I'm standing five feet away from a man who got a silver star.
