It was not over.

The new world will never be the same world if people like Negan were still breathing. Still existing and won't cease. The things that had happened is only the start of what could come. These next few weeks will determine our entire future, and will impact on the outcome of how we will choose to live.

Almost two weeks has passed since the Saviours fled from Alexandria. Its given us the time to bury our residents and friends. Sasha.

Also to plan our retaliation. There was a lot that could go wrong. Things can always go wrong. But it has never stopped us in the past. And it never will.

I couldn't help but shiver. A few days after the attack I couldn't help but feel off. Mentally, and physically.

Head felt dizzy, hands were shaky, stomach felt queezy.

But I couldn't be feeling like that right now. We had hope to grasp onto. But I couldn't shake it off.

As we were gathered in a field, the morning of our proposal assault on the Sanctuary, Rick was giving our a speech. Everyone cheered at his words.

"You up to this?" Rick asked Maggie tentatively.

Maggie sighed and nodded. "I got Hilltop to stand against the Saviours. I gotta be here. At least for the first part." She smiled a little. "They say you can wage war through the second trimester."

"I'm sure when the small dude is born he's gonna be a ninja with all this fighting you're doing." I smirked and she chuckled.

It felt difficult to catch onto humour within the situation. It felt guilty to try to be happy when you're going to fight.

I couldn't tell if it was guilt, or something else that was lurking in the pit of my stomach that was making me feel uneasy. I anxiously gripped the strap of my rifle to calm to feeling.

"You okay Lils?" Maggie asked me and nudged me softly. "You don't have to do this either."

"Oh, yeah I'm fine." I forced out. "Just feeling weird that's all." I shrugged it off.

"Get enough rest? I could barely sleep a wink last night." She asked.

"I'm fine. Nerves." I gripped my strap.

"I get it, I've been fighting since the farm. I can't stop now anyways." Maggie nodded.

"How about tomorrow?" Rick spoke up.

Maggies eyes moved to the lining of the trees, a wistful smile creeped to her lips. "You been thinking about what it looks like?"

"Yes, I have. I don't know if I can wait for it."

"Just one more fight. And I'm gonna be there." Maggie assured him. "At least for the first part."

When the small group disbanded, I remained by Rick's side. I was coming with him to then later on meet with my dad. "Are you really gonna do it?"

"Do what?"

I looked up. "Kill him."

He nodded slowly. "Yea, I am."
