"Yes mom, I made it okay." I said as I walked through the halls and towards my dorm.

"Are you sure honey? You know we could've come with you." Came my moms worried voice.

She's been worried sick about me since I left. I love her to death, but sometimes it can be a bit much.

"Yes I'm sure. Don't worry, I'm almost to the dorm now, and when I get there I will be sure to unpack everything and give you a call."

"Okay, and how about your roommate? Have you heard anything about them yet?"

"No, not yet." Which was true. I had selected a roommate that I thought would be good for me. She seemed like the perfect person. Had a good record, was a straight A student, and a sweet face, but for whatever reason, she decided to drop out before school had even started. So now I was being roomed with a random.

"Well alright honey, I'll let you go now. Text me if you need me."

"I will mom. Tell momma I love her."

"Sure thing honey, Love you."

"I love you too mom." I said as I hung up the phone.

I sighed as I stood in front of my dorm room. Finally, I'll be able to get a fresh start. Today marks the first page in my new chapter of life.

When I walked in I was greeted with a basic dorm room. Two beds, each on opposite sides of the wall, two desks, a closet space on each side, and a couple counters. Unfortunately we had to use the bathrooms in the halls, there's only a couple rooms here that have connected bathrooms, and they were already taken by the upperclassmen.

The college I went to is about two hours from my hometown. There's a chance that I'll see people here that went to school with me, but it's not too likely. There's only really one person I wanted to escape from. The one person that made my high school life a living hell.

I took one more look around the room and noticed that I was the first person here. My roommate wasn't here yet, and if she was then there were no signs that she had come to the room.

Oh well. I thought. Might as well start to get my things unpacked.

My parents were worried about me coming to college on my own. I assured them that I would be able to get everything done myself, but they're still protective. I guess it's reasonable, I am their only biological kid.

Don't get me wrong, my parents love each and everyone of us the same, but I could always tell I had a little more of a soft spot than my siblings did. There's four of us. Me being the oldest, Bailey Montgomery, then we have my little sister, Anna. She was adopted from one of the orphanages that momma had built. She looks like mom though. Same blonde hair, same green eyes, even the same personality.

That brings me to my brothers. Jaxon and Donovan. Jaxon is the same age as Anna. He was adopted a year later. His parents were involved with Mexican gangs and ended up getting killed, leading him to be placed in the system. When my moms saw him, they immediately fell in love. Donovan is the youngest. He was adopted as a baby and my parents have spoiled him rotten.

My parents went through some science thingy to make me. Since the technology has been upgraded throughout the years, they're able to make an artificial sperm cell out of an egg. So they took an egg from momma and turned it into sperm to fertilize an egg from mom. It took a while, and also a lot of money, but they were successful, and ended up getting pregnant with me.

I'm a perfect mix of the two. I have mommas black hair, my moms nose and lips, mommas face structure, and a mix between mom and mommas height. The one thing that stands out the most about me is my eyes. My left one is the shade of green that mom has, while my right one is a shade of blue like mommas.
